“Cows produce way more milk than they need, so it’s okay to drink it.”
It’s true that cows have been selectively bred to produce more milk than they would naturally need for their calves.
However, the reality is that to get that milk, cows are separated from their babies shortly after birth, which causes immense distress to both mother and calf.
The calves are often sent to veal farms or raised for meat, while the mothers are kept in a cycle of pregnancy and milk production until they’re no longer productive.
While it may seem like a “natural” system, the harm caused by dairy production—separation, exploitation, and eventual slaughter—is significant.
Even though cows produce more milk than needed for their calves, the process is still based on exploitation, and there are plant-based alternatives that can offer the same nutritional benefits without the cruelty involved.
“If we can be strong and healthy without harming others, why wouldn’t we?”
Just hit 1,000 subs!! Hopefully one day the number of bodies and lives I transform will = my sub count. Looking forward to that day. Currently working on a few projects which will hopefully be released soon. In the mean time, if you've got any burning questions - let me know via Insta @anthonyminimal
