Since there are vampires, there are witches too... and sirens (tho i mentioned this before). The witches' Grand Mage (leader) is a Blaire, which is the strongest ancestry in the history of witches.
Relationship with humans?
In simple words, witches are neutral (but used to be hostile), vampires are hostile, and sirens are super dangerous (even towards witches and vampires even though they are considered the 'same'— supernaturals.)
Just like vampires live in Mooncrest's underground, witches live in Empyrea's.
Sovereigns
* In simple words, sovereigns are people tasked to protect something and draws power from that something. They are stronger than magic wielders & supernaturals, but weaker than that of a 'god', which is considered the highest power level.
* Ex: the Moon Sovereign; protects the Moon and also uses the Moon's powers
