Dear Readers,

We kindly ask for a moment of your time to read our sad story.

My name is Ibrahim Kaisy, a Pales tinian Filipino. I was born in the Philippines and raised in Ga za for nearly seven years. My father, Dr. Ata Mohamed Kaisy, is a Pales tinian from Gaza. At 18, he went to the Philippines to study, where he met my Filipina-Spanish mother at the same university. Together, they raised five children. In 2002, when I was 10 years old, five of us were evacuated back to the Philippines due to the ongoing war in Ga za. We were among the first civilian children to evacuate.

While in the Philippines, my father completed his Doctorate, graduated in 2006. Our plan was to return to Ga za with him, but no chance because of closed border of Rafah. Unfortunately, the war resumed in 2006, and we never had the chance to reunite with him. The last time I saw my father, I was just 14. It has been almost 22 years since we last saw our family in Ga za .

I have been working in Saudi Arabia for eight years and had planned to visit Ga za last year 2023, after 22 long years. However, the events of October 7 changed everything. On October 9, a bom*b destroyed a house beside ours in Ga za, and I lost contact with my family for over two months. They have been displaced 16 times, constantly searching for water, food, and safety, and have survived seven bom*b at*tacks by the I D F . They even sought shelter at Shifa Hospital but were forced to leave after a 15-days invasion last March.

I am reaching out for your support to help my family evacuate to Egypt as soon as possible. My father, stepmother, and my younger siblings (aged 15, 13, and 6) are in dire need. They live in inhumane conditions with no access to food, water, or medical services, and have even resorted to eat animal food. My father, a PhD doctor and professor, lost his teaching job at the university.

Our goal is to raise $30,000 USD to cover the costs of evacuating five family members from Ga za to Egypt. Your generosity will have a significant impact on their journey to safety and resettlement, and we deeply appreciate any assistance you can provide.

Please share this campaign with your friends, family, and colleagues so that we can reach our goal and ensure the safety of my family. I hold onto the hope that we can all be together again soon, God willing. Help us fulfill our dream of reuniting after 22 years. To have safe future that we may help others too
