Thai AirAsia is poised to resume its direct air services between Bangkok and Bhairahawa, with flights set to recommence on October 26, 2025. The airline will operate twice a week, on Sundays and Wednesdays, from Bangkok to Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA). This move comes after a previous suspension of the route due to low passenger numbers. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal has granted approval for the airline's winter schedule, signaling a renewed effort to boost international connectivity and tourism at the Bhairahawa airport.

Bhutan Airlines to Start Pokhara Paro Charter Flights Starting September 28.


Bhutan Airlines has initiated chartered flights between Paro, Bhutan, and Pokhara, Nepal. Four flights are scheduled for September 28, October 2, October 6, and October 10. The service, organized in collaboration with Universal Tours and Travel, marks the first direct air link between the two cities. While these initial flights are chartered, officials and tourism entrepreneurs in Nepal are optimistic that a successful run could lead to the establishment of regular international services from Pokhara's new international airport, boosting tourism and connectivity in the region.

Yeti Airlines Marks 27 Years with New Fleet and Customer-Friendly Plans.


Yeti Airlines has celebrated its 27th anniversary by unveiling a series of new initiatives to enhance passenger experience and expand its operations. The airline announced customer-friendly schemes such as a "Fly Now, Pay Later" plan with Global IME Bank, prepaid ticket bundles under the Yeti Travel Card, and a special "Explore Nepal for Rs. 25,000" package. Alongside this, Yeti revealed plans to induct new ATR 72-600 aircraft into its fleet, expand to 10-12 planes, and move forward with its IPO ambitions.

Nepal Airlines to Launch First Direct Kathmandu-Guangzhou Flights from 25 September 2025.




Nepal Airlines will start direct Kathmandu-Guangzhou flights from 25 September 2025, with promotional flights on 28 September. Regular service will operate three times a week-Sundays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays-starting October. Promotional fares are NPR 30,000 one-way and NPR 50,000 return. This is the airline's first scheduled service to China since diplomatic ties began in 1955.
