Quick update on the custom wall plates we built for the OHT Lab:

We have sold 36 out of 50, with only 14 left.

These were never meant to be a product line. We built them for our own lab because we were tired of cheap plastic wall plates, then decided to share a small batch with the community.

Solid anodized aluminum. Proper binding posts. No compromises.

Once these are gone, we will not be making another run.

A first-of-its-kind for video processors, the Envy Commander sets a new benchmark in intuitive control—free for all Envy customers
Rockville, MD — February 2, 2026 — madVR Labs today announced the upcoming Envy Commander™, a powerful new web-based administration and control interface for the full family of madVR Envy video processors. Built for professional integrators and demanding enthusiasts alike, Envy Commander makes it faster and easier to configure, monitor, and manage even the most advanced Envy installations through a modern, highly intuitive interface.

Envy Commander is another industry-first innovation from madVR Labs and will be free for all Envy customers. It is expected to roll out later in 2026, with a live technology preview at ISE 2026 (February 3–6, Barcelona, Booth 2G300).

A New Benchmark for Setup and Control
The madVR Envy is known worldwide for delivering reference-grade video performance—regardless of source, content, or display. With Envy Commander, madVR Labs brings that same no-compromise philosophy to the user experience, introducing a modern control layer that enhances setup, day-to-day operation, and advanced configuration.

Envy Commander runs on virtually any device through a web browser—no app installation required—and is optimized for a fast, responsive experience across a wide range of screen sizes. It supports both first-time and expert installers with selectable basic and advanced views, plus extensive customization to match each user’s workflow. Whether you want quick access to essentials and Setup Wizards or deep control over advanced settings, Envy Commander keeps the experience streamlined and efficient.

Always in Sync: Real-Time, Bidirectional Control
At the core of Envy Commander is a persistent, real-time connection to the Envy processor that stays synchronized in both directions. Changes made in Envy Commander apply instantly to the Envy hardware, while changes made via the Envy on-screen menu or an external control system appear immediately in every connected Envy Commander client—eliminating guesswork and ensuring everything reflects the current state of the Envy.

Patent-Pending Innovations That Unlock a New Level of Clarity
Envy Commander introduces patent-pending innovations designed to make advanced configuration both powerful and easy to understand. For example, it clearly reveals how Profiles and Settings interact to deliver maximum flexibility—helping integrators configure, optimize, and manage sophisticated systems with greater speed and confidence.

Built for the Way Integrators Work
Designed for real-world installation environments, Envy Commander includes a live monitoring dashboard with detailed information on incoming and outgoing signals, enabled algorithms, and overall system status and health. Its modern interface is built for fast navigation across desktop, tablet, and mobile, and it supports multiple technicians working simultaneously from different devices, with changes synchronized in real time.

For integrators, this means faster commissioning, greater clarity, and more confidence that every system is delivering the intended result—consistently.

“The Envy Commander is a game-changer for system setup, and more importantly, for our ongoing client Managed Care support,” says EJ Feulner, Division Manager of AHT Cinema for AHT Global, a leading high-end home cinema integrator and long-time madVR Envy dealer. “It’s the final piece that takes the Envy to the next level, delivering modern, real-time control, operation, and troubleshooting that makes advanced systems faster to configure and even easier to manage. I’ve been looking forward to this, and it has exceeded my expectations.”

A Modern Ecosystem Built Around the madVR Envy
Envy Commander reflects madVR Labs’ commitment to delivering a complete ownership experience around the Envy. It combines advanced processing, deep automation, and modern control tools, alongside expert video calibration services through its Professional Services Group and world-class Certified for Envy™ training.

“The Envy Commander is designed to make the Envy faster to configure and easier to operate, while enabling more advanced decisions and configurations—without compromise,” said Richard Litofsky, Co-founder & CEO of madVR Labs. “It’s the modern, professional interface integrators and enthusiasts have been asking for, and we’re excited to preview it at ISE 2026.”

Availability
Envy Commander will be free for all madVR Envy customers and is expected to begin rolling out later in 2026. A technology preview will be shown at ISE 2026 (February 3–6, Barcelona, Booth 2G300).

ARCAM dropped some exciting news at ISE with three AV Amplifiers (AVA15, AVA25, and AVA35), a 16-channel AV Processor (AVP45), and two power amplifiers (PA4 and PA9).

These look sooooo much better than all previous Arcam models. Let me know your thoughts on the new lineup.

The new Radia AV models combine the Radia Series’ distinctive industrial design with the power and control expected of ARCAM AV equipment. Black casework, yellow accents, and high-resolution 6.5” color displays give each model a bold, confident presence, while the ARCAM Radia App makes setup, presets, and streaming straightforward. All models support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, with the AVA25, AVA35, and AVP45 also supporting Auro-3D. Connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.4 with Auracast, HDMI (including HDMI eARC), and high-resolution streaming via Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, and Qobuz Connect. All handle up to 24-bit / 192kHz audio and are Roon Ready.

The AVA15, AVA25, AVA35 and AVP45 support Dirac Live Active Room Treatment (ART) - alongside Dirac Live Room Correction and Dirac Live Bass Control - enabling advanced system-wide optimization that goes beyond traditional room correction. By actively coordinating all speakers, ART improves bass control, timing, and overall clarity. Combined with ARCAM’s precision engineering, it optimizes the system for the listening environment, allowing music and movies to play with their full impact.

Alongside the AV amplifiers and 16-channel processor, ARCAM has announced two Radia Series power amplifiers, scheduled to arrive shortly after the AVAs and AVP later this year. The PA4 delivers four channels of efficient Class D amplification, ideal for driving height, surround, or second zone speakers, while the PA9 provides nine channels of Class G power, optimized for efficiency, low distortion, and confident headroom on demand.

RADIA AMPLIFIERS:

AVA15: £2,599 / €2,999 / USD $4,500
Delivers twelve channels of processing for music and movies. Supports immersive setups such as 7.1.2 or 5.1.4, with flexible speaker assignment for additional subwoofers, height, or surround speakers and full Dolby Atmos and DTS:X playback.

AVA25: £4,499 / €4,999 / USD $5,500
Provides nine channels of Class AB amplification at 100W, enabling controlled performance for larger rooms or demanding speakers. Supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and Auro-3D, with Zone 2 output for multi-room setups and a substantial toroidal linear power supply for stable, consistent power.

AVA35: £5,999 / €6,999 / USD $7,000
Features nine channels of Class G amplification, twice the efficiency of Class AB, giving more usable power on demand. ARCAM’s signature Class G technology delivers controlled, precise performance and consistent output across the full dynamic range. Supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and Auro-3D, with Matrix Channel Assignment for flexible speaker configurations and the same high-performance DAC architecture as ARCAM’s stereo systems.

RADIA AV PROCESSORS:

AVP45: £5,299 / €5,999 / USD $6,000
Acts as a command center with sixteen channels of decoding, including Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Auro-3D, and IMAX Enhanced. Balanced outputs provide clean signal, and Matrix Channel Assignment allows flexible speaker setups. It pairs with external amplification, including ARCAM’s PA9 Class G amplifier, and includes Zone 2 output for multi-room integration.

RADIA POWER AMPLIFIERS:

PA4: £899 / €999 / USD $1,500
Provides four channels of Class D amplification from a 1U slimline chassis, designed to expand any Radia AV system. Pairs perfectly with the AVA15, AVA25, and AVA35, delivering clean, confident power to height, surround, or second zone speakers.

PA9: £3,499 / €3,999 / USD $5,000
Delivers nine channels of Class G amplification, optimized for efficiency, low distortion, and confident headroom on demand. Developed to partner the AVP45 processor, the PA9 provides controlled, effortless power across all channels, enabling high-channel immersive setups to perform at their best.

Harman launches their new Arcam Radia Series loudspeakers and subwoofer. Let me know your thoughts on the new series.

NEW ARCAM RADIA SPEAKERS AND SUB:

R15 (pair): £1,699 / €2,000 / USD $2,200
The entry-level Radia bookshelf features a two-way crossover design, combining a 25 mm (1 inch) DCC aluminum dome tweeter in an Acoustic Lens waveguide with a 130 mm MCC cone woofer. Like all Radia passive loudspeakers, it can be fine-tuned via an anechoic EQ when paired with the ARCAM SA35, SA45, or Radia AV products.

R25 (pair): £2,599 / €3,000 / USD $3,300
The largest Radia bookshelf model also uses a two-way crossover, with a 165 mm MCC cone woofer and the same 25 mm tweeter used across the series in an Acoustic Lens waveguide. Its slightly larger cabinet accommodates the bigger woofer, supporting extended low-frequency response while keeping the speaker suitable for bookshelf placement.

R25B (each): £2,599 / €3,000 / USD $3,300
The R25B subwoofer provides deep, controlled bass, whether used to enhance a 2.1 music system or as part of a full surround setup. It houses a 750-watt digital amplifier, driving a 250 mm (10 inch) coated fiber-composite cone woofer.

R35C (each): £1,699 / €2,000 / USD $2,200
The center speaker is a critical part of any surround sound system, often carrying around half of all on-screen dialogue. ARCAM has engineered the R35C to excel in this role, with a 25 mm (1 inch) DCC aluminum dome tweeter mounted in an Acoustic Lens waveguide for wide, even dispersion and precise imaging, and a brace of 130 mm (5.25 inch) MCC cone woofers for natural low- and mid-range presence.

R35 (each): £1,999 / €2,500 / USD $2,700
The R35 is the more compact floorstanding model in the Radia series, featuring a three-way crossover design. It uses a 25 mm DCC dome tweeter in the Acoustic Lens waveguide, three 130 mm MCC cone woofers for low frequencies, and a single 130 mm DCC cone midrange driver. Designed to pair seamlessly with the ARCAM Radia SA35, the R35 delivers precise imaging, balanced bass, and clear, natural midrange, making it ideal for smaller to medium-sized rooms or tighter setups.

R45 (each): £2,999 / €3,500 / USD $3,800
The R45 is the ultimate loudspeaker in the Radia Series, also employing a three-way crossover. It features three 165 mm MCC cone woofers for low frequencies, a 165 mm DCC cone driver for midrange, and a 25 mm DCC dome aluminum tweeter in the range’s Acoustic Lens waveguide. It is the ideal match for the ARCAM Radia SA45, offering authority, detailed imaging, and extended low-frequency response for larger rooms.

Well, that’s a wrap.

Three unforgettable days hanging out with some truly incredible people. The gear was insane, the movies were unforgettable, but the community is what made this special.

Because of all of you who showed up, supported, and believed in this, we raised enough to bring clean, fresh water to a community and save 100 children in Burundi, Africa.

That’s the part that really matters.

If you’d still like to be part of this, donations are still open:
