Update: I've had several folks ask how things were going with the house and the garage conversion... so here are some pics of the garage conversion. Super proud of my kiddos and how they all have jumped in on this to make it happen. They all have jobs or school and have been pulling "doubles" to help pop out.

So we have taken a 2-car garage (that was pretty much filled with junk), gutted it, added 10' to the end so we could add plumbing, reframed the front and of course the entire inside, electric, HVAC, sheetrock, paint.... and now we are at the point of wiring up the panel, cabinets, fixtures, and trimwork. So we are getting CLOSE! Once we are done with that and get moved in we can start on the house.

Again, I want to apologize and thank everyone at the same time. Content will back to normal before you know it! Trust me, I'm ready to get back to "normal" for my own sanity lol.

Hey everyone,

Some of you may have noticed a decrease in content lately, and I wanted to take a moment to explain why.

Life has thrown a major curveball my family’s way. Early this year, we started having leaks all throughout our home. After some investigation and opening up a closed attic, I found that the faulty installation of spray foam insulation allowed outdoor humidity into the attic, trapping moisture in the foam over the years. And we all know what happens to wood when it's exposed to moisture for years without a way to dry. Yea, it's bad. Anything that the foam encapsulated has rotted. The attic is full of black mold and it all has to go. The photo below is a truss at the roofline. The best case scenario is I have to demo the house down to the ground floor studs... most likely the entire house.


Between planning this demo and rebuild, fighting crooked businesses, insurance companies, and their lawyers while trying to convert a garage into a temporary living space for 6 people... time has been slim to say the least.

Because of that, I haven’t been able to post as often as I’d like. But I want you to know I haven’t stopped creating. A new video is coming next week, and once I get everything in place for my family, I’ll be back in full force.
