Today's shorts - Joseph Kallinger: The Shoemaker from Hell
By day, he was a quiet cobbler in Philadelphia. By night, he became one of the most terrifying killers of the 1970s.
Between 1974 and 1975, Joseph Kallinger — joined by his 13-year-old son Michael — went on a horrifying spree across three states. They invaded homes, tied up entire families, and subjected them to hours of torture. Six people were held hostage. Three were murdered, including a young boy.
Kallinger claimed “God” ordered him to commit these crimes, recording his delusions in a diary filled with strange “missions.” But the truth behind his life is just as twisted: years of childhood abuse, arson charges, and violent outbursts before his final capture.

Today's short - On This Day, 5 Years Ago: The Other Air India Crash You May Have Forgotten
Five years ago today — August 7, 2020 — Air India Express Flight 1344 crashed while landing at Kozhikode (Calicut) Airport in heavy monsoon rain.
The aircraft overshot the runway, fell into a 35-foot gorge, and split in two.
21 people died, including both pilots. Miraculously, 169 passengers survived — thanks in part to local residents and emergency crews who rushed in to help, even as the storm raged on.
This crash happened during the COVID-19 pandemic, as part of a repatriation mission bringing stranded Indians home. It raised urgent concerns about India’s “tabletop runways” and wet-weather landing safety — warnings that still echo today.
In the wake of the 2025 Air India crash, this earlier tragedy is often forgotten. But the loss, the heroism, and the survivors' stories from Flight 1344 deserve to be remembered.

🕯️ Today's Short Marks 80 Years Since Hiroshima 🕯️
August 6, 1945 — August 6, 2025
Today marks 80 years since the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, a moment that changed the world forever.
At 8:15 AM, a single bomb — codenamed “Little Boy” — was dropped by the U.S. on a city of civilians. In seconds, tens of thousands of lives were lost. By the end of 1945, over 140,000 people were dead. Many more suffered from radiation, burns, and trauma for the rest of their lives.
It was the first time nuclear weapons were used in war. It remains one of the darkest chapters in human history — not just for the scale of devastation, but for what it revealed about humanity’s capacity for destruction.
As a channel dedicated to history’s darkest moments, we remember Hiroshima not just as a tragic event, but as a warning. The shadows etched into concrete walls. The silence that followed the blast. The children who never came home. These are not just stories of the past — they are lessons for the future.
🕊️ Never forget. Never repeat.

Today we look at Arthur Shawcross
Arthur Shawcross, known as The Genesee River Killer, was released from prison in the early 1980s after serving time for two earlier killings. Authorities believed he was “rehabilitated.”
But just a few years later, women began disappearing around Rochester, New York. The bodies were found near the Genesee River—and all signs pointed to one man.
What’s chilling isn’t just what he did… but how long he got away with it. Shawcross even spoke casually with police, returning to the scenes of his crimes while pretending to be a concerned citizen.
How did the system fail so badly? And how was he able to hide in plain sight?
🎥 New shorts out now.

🧠 Today’s Shorts: The Chilling Mind of Edmund Kemper 💀
Today’s Shorts dive into one of the most disturbing figures in true crime history: Edmund Kemper, also known as the Co-Ed Killer.
Standing at 6'9" with an IQ of 145, Kemper wasn't just physically imposing—he was terrifyingly intelligent. Between 1964 and 1973, he murdered 10 people, including his grandparents, six young women, his mother, and her best friend.
Kemper had a haunting ability to switch between charming and monstrous. He befriended local police, narrated audiobooks in prison, and even turned himself in—detailing his crimes with chilling calm.
But behind his soft-spoken words was a fractured mind, shaped by years of emotional abuse, isolation, and rage—especially toward his mother, whom he claimed was the root of it all.
🔪 Today’s videos explore the moments where fantasy blurred into horror… and reality snapped.
Let me know your thoughts—and if you want more stories like this.
