New computer set up and ready to roll! It looks like it will reduce my render times by up to 70% and allow me to work through edits much smoother, so that's going to be amazing.
Our video variety has lacked a bit lately. Sorry about that. Tasha got an injection to help with some lower back irritation she's been dealing with, and it gave her a very painful steroid flare that has persisted for weeks now. Sitting at our set to open cards has just not been something she's been capable of doing. The good news is, she finally seems to be getting noticeably better every day now, and thinks she'll be good to go in the next day or so. So...here are a few videos either on deck to be released, or that we'll be working on very shortly now that she'll be back in action:

Some of these we've been promising for a while, but between her surgery and now this multi-week flare, we just haven't been able to get in a good rhythm. Hopefully that changes starting this week and we can finally make good on the content many of you have asked for. Sorry it has taken so long!
Our One Piece Episode 1129 Reaction will be a bit delayed to either tomorrow afternoon or Tuesday morning. My editing time tonight was interrupted by a severe thunderstorm that brought with it a Tornado Warning, and the cell responsible was going to be passing right over our house, so Tasha and I camped out in our closet for a large portion of the evening. As luck would have it, my editing rig is not in there. I'll make up for lost time tomorrow and get it out as quickly as I can :)
I got her a few cute figures of her favorite characters, put together a Carrot God Pack with a Proxy Manga I had her open, we played a bunch of Expedition 33, then went to BJs Brewery and Restaurant for some Pizookis. It was a good day
Went to WeebCon today and scored some autographs from Yuriko Yamaguchi (Robin Japanese VA), and Jeff Ward (Live Action Buggy). Would have preferred not to have the "To: Mike" on Yuriko's signings, but they required it because of Sig Resellers I guess. As usual, some people trying to make a quick buck ruining it for the rest of us. Ah well.
Wanted to share a few updates as well as an exciting addition to our collection :)
1st: We won't be reacting to the latest Egghead Part 2 trailer that dropped. We don't want a modicum of surprise to be ruined for us, so we're heading into part 2 blind as bats!
2nd: We have completed the outline, script, and major portion of filming on our pre-grading video. It's coming, just takes time, especially with my schedule.
3rd: We have a case of OP10 we are opening today (March 26th) and will have the video up likely on Monday the 31st.
4th: We'll round out our One Piece Anime drought with our 3D2Y reaction late next week. Not sure when I'll be able to sneak in Heart of Gold, Film Gold, Stampede, and Red...but life, uh...finds a wayyy.
Lastly...we bought ourselves a piece of One Piece memorabilia and we're excited to share it. This is an original copy of the 1997 Shonen Jump (#34), which features the first canon appearance of our favorite captains, Luffy and Shanks. There are very few copies known out in the wild that are in decent condition (I think the highest graded one is a 6.5 if I remember correctly), and there are a million fakes out there, especially on eBay, so it set me back a bit, but I really wanted this alongside our Volume 1 Manga.
Thank you for your continued support! We are hoping to grow in several ways in 2025 and beyond, so stay tuned!
Change of plans for One Piece Day. Because it's going to be cold, and Tasha's cold resistance stat is -500, we'll not be doing our casual cosplay at the show tomorrow, as she'd be frozen. We'll save it for a future event. Still, if you see us, come say hi 😁
Having some issues with Strong World getting blocked, and it waited a few hours after publishing to be flagged. Tried working around what it didn't like, but it just found other things to complain about. Had to take it down to make some adjustments. We read all the great comments on the original upload, thanks for engaging! Revised version will hopefully be up on March 7th.
One Piece: Strong World Reaction coming later today. Meant to set it live at 10am CT, but I noticed an issue with the final render and need to redo it. Should go live this afternoon.
On deck we have more One Piece movies/specials, One Piece Day Coverage, One Piece TCG openings, and our Pre-Grading video in the coming weeks!
