âž¡ It also gives a clear roadmap for targeted patches and changes that can help make your game more fun to play.
âž¡ Example: If you make ammo scarce, the player might take a stealthy approach instead of shooting everything in sight.

Every day, someone gets that BIG starting salary.
Why not you?
You can be one of those that join the game Industry at 25k per month and take 3 years to get to 50k...or you can start there!
It means that in 3 years, you will have earned around 9 lakhs more!! That's a big deal, isn't it?
BUT it is NOT EASY....or everyone would be starting with Rockstar salaries.
You will have to have a laser-like focus, and also GUIDANCE.
Without that, it will be near impossible.
Let's go!!!

The most common mistake is to make a few small solo projects by watching Udemy or YouTube and then expect to get hired by a game studio or company...and it very rarely happens.
The truth is that there are a million people like you out there watching the SAME videos and making similar small projects.
Game studios are tired of seeing "Beginner level" games and portfolios...there are soooo many out there, and they are not impressive.
To get that interview call, you have to make something that stands out. It does not have to be super original (showing some creativity and innovation helps a lot, though) but it has to be POLISHED.
The reason is, studios don't want to spend much time TRAINING people; they want them to work, and work in teams!
That's why portfolios with several small solo projects don't make the cut.
"But how can I learn the skills needed to make polished games, and find a group to work with?"
Join a structured program where you will get training by game industry professionals and also be part of a mentored group project!
The batch for the G2M Professional Diploma in Game Design and Production Skills is open, and is likely to get sold out immediately; if you are interested in joining the waitlist and saving your seat, DM us.

We know that you probably HATE doing this... but your chances of success are DANGEROUSLY close to zero if you skip this "boring" stuff.
In the Gamer2Maker course, we go really hard on our students to PLAN their game projects by following these exact steps.
Planning and doing a thorough pre-production helps reduce the RISK of your game project.
It can take months!! However, it will be worth it, as you won't spend lots of time and effort on a game project that ends up being wasted because you couldn't complete it... or it failed to reach its goals.
Which part of this is REALLY hard for you to do? Or easy?

Write this phrase down somewhere- "Creativity within constraints."
That's what you have to learn, first and foremost, if you want to be an entrepreneur in the game industry.
We see lots of messages from many of you talking about your game ideas and how you want to make awesome games and set up studios, but there's more to games than cool ideas.
The game industry is one of the most difficult places to make money in, mostly because of the level of competition and the unpredictable nature of game development.
Our biggest recommendation is to GET A JOB FIRST for a few years so that you learn how games are made and how to make money from them, and THEN take the plunge.
This will also help you to build your network, and come in very useful when you are building a team and looking for funding for your game/company.
Did we miss anything? Any more tips from successful game studio owners?
Let's go!!
