Explore paranormal investigation, ghost box sessions, EVP evidence, and spirit communication experiments with Larry Flaxman, bestselling author, public speaker, and Resident Investigator at the 1886 Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

From haunted sites to lab tests, I apply a scientific lens to the unknown. I focus on bridging fringe science and established theory, covering the unexplained with ITC (Instrumental Transcommunication), EVP, ghost box research, and spirit communication through technology. I use custom-developed spirit communication tech and other ITC devices, then review the evidence on camera so you can see exactly what was captured.

What You Will See:
• The Curiosity Files – science and history of fringe topics
• ITC & Tech – spirit communication experiments and analysis
• Field Research – on-location investigations across Arkansas and beyond

This photo with Lincoln is obviously fake, but it shows why photos alone don’t prove much anymore. Anyone can make a realistic image in minutes now, so in paranormal work a single picture means very little. Real evidence has to come from full sessions, multiple cameras, continuous recording, and clear context you can check.

Occam’s razor is a principle that dates back to the 14th century. It’s usually summed up like this: when you’re faced with competing explanations, the one that requires the fewest assumptions is usually the best place to start.

It doesn’t mean the simplest explanation is always correct. It means you don’t multiply causes beyond necessity. Rule out the obvious first. Test the ordinary before jumping to the extraordinary.

That stretch right after the holidays is usually when I take a breath and start thinking about what’s next.

I’m starting to set goals for 2026 and mapping out future videos, investigations, and topics. Before I decide anything, I want your input. A lot of what I cover comes directly from questions people ask and ideas they share with me.

• Are there topics you want me to dig into next year?
• Fringe science, consciousness, or life after death?
• Paranormal investigations or experiments you’re curious about?
• A theory, experience, or question you’ve never heard a clear answer to?

If something’s been on your mind, say it. You can leave a comment here or email me directly at Larry (at) LarryFlaxman (dot) com.

Thanksgiving always makes me slow down a little and think about the people who make my work worth doing. I’m grateful for everyone who follows the channel, comments, sends ideas, or just checks in to see what I’m working on next. You’re the reason I get to keep exploring all of this.

I hope today gives you some good food, some peace, and a chance to be around people who matter to you. Thanks for being here and being part of this community.

Happy Thanksgiving.

I just got back from the History, Haunts, and Legends conference in Jefferson, Texas where I presented "The Language of Intention: Testing Consciousness Through the Ghost Box."

It was a great weekend with good friends, curious minds, and plenty of late-night conversations about what’s really happening on the other side of the static. I shared some of my latest experiments on how focused thought and emotion might actually shape ghost box responses.

Thanks to everyone who came out and took part. It’s events like this that remind me why I do what I do.

I spent more time in the morgue on this trip to the 1886 Crescent Hotel. The energy felt different. Quieter, but heavy in a way you notice in your chest. I tried some new audio setups and came home with a few moments that made me stop during review. Nothing dramatic, just odd timing, a couple sudden pressure drops, and one point in the morgue where the whole space felt like it shifted darker for a second.

A few weeks ago, I helped raise and restore several fallen headstones. It was tough work, but worth every minute to give these names their place again.

I’ll be posting a new video soon showing how we did it and why this kind of preservation matters.

Guess where I am? The only clue I’ll give you… I’m at my favorite place.

Just got back from visiting the Marks’ Mill battlefield near Fordyce, Arkansas. It is the site of one of the bloodiest ambushes of the Civil War’s Camden Expedition in 1864. Walking those woods, it is hard not to feel the weight of what happened there. Hundreds of Union soldiers were killed or captured in a matter of hours. The ground is quiet now, but history lingers. I’ll be sharing more from this visit soon.

On my trip to Fordyce I stopped in at the Dallas County Museum, which turned out to be packed with local history that most people have never heard about. The exhibits covered everything from Civil War artifacts to small-town stories that give Fordyce its character. It felt like stepping into a time capsule that tied the town’s past directly to the land around it.
