Civic Village International is a registered Canadian grassroots non-profit organization operating in Liberia, West Africa with a mission of reducing rural poverty, and regional inequalities and promoting social development through community-led development in all fifteen counties in Liberia. We aim to provide community toilets with sanitation, access to clean water, and renewable energy. We also aim to build low-cost homes, schools, and community health centers in impoverished urban and small rural areas using locally available materials and carbon-neutral construction processes to foster sustainable development under the force of global climate change.


Our organization aims to promote eco-friendly development, sustainable agriculture practices, and non-farm-based business, skills, and trade development to facilitate green social enterprises and enhance communal autonomy and community-led development.
