What if lightning isn’t random?
What if it’s not just warm air meeting cold instability (NERDS) but ancestral grief meeting historical amnesia?
Florida leads in lightning strikes, with Texas being second yes. But it also leads to forgotten burial grounds, erased Black histories, and beachfronts built over broken promises and floridal bullshit.
Science says lightning follows physics. But spirit? Spirit follows memory with consequences
And sometimes, the sky remembers what the census forgets.

So no, lightning isn’t racist perhaps, but maybe it’s sick & tired.
Tired of redlined neighborhoods with no shelter.
Tired of outdoor laborers with no warning.
