There’s so much happening right now including political chaos in the U.S., people being laid off, and the devastation in Jamaica. It can all feel overwhelming, which is why I’ve been slowing down and being more intentional with my time, movement, and energy.

I’m going out less and choosing what and who I give my energy to. I’m focusing on protecting my mind, body, and soul. This is my season of recalibration, making space for peace, gratitude, and purpose.

Remember, it’s okay to pause. It’s okay to disconnect and realign. You are not falling behind. You are protecting your peace and preparing for what’s next.

I don’t know who needs this reminder, but you are NOT missing anything. What God has for you requires no chasing—it will find you, even if you try to run from it.

Testimony: Last month, I was in prep mode for an opportunity I was really looking forward to as part of getting back into the rhythm of things. Everything on my end was done and ready, but when the time came, someone else dropped the ball. At first, I thought, “If it’s meant to be, it’ll happen.” I followed up, tried to keep it alive, but eventually God made it clear: That’s not what I have for you. It was a headache I didn’t need.

And sure enough, another opportunity opened up—effortless, stress-free, and aligned.

Moral of the story: when the signs are there, take them as God’s way of saying not yet or that’s not your scene. God sees the mess we can’t.
