FlySKAGs A350-900 will be performing a flyover at the GeoFS SkyFly World Airshow in the Denver (DEN/KDEN) part. The fictional airline has now sent G-FSKI there; it departed from Montreal (YUL/CYUL), so the estimated flight time is at around 4h 30mins.

FlySK will have to inspect their A320 fleet AGAIN.
Today, a FlySK A320 coming into Madeira suddenly - WITHOUT ANY INPUT FROM THE PILOT - dropped 440ft on short final (from 800ft AGL to 360ft AGL). The aircraft continued and landed safely, narrowly avoiding any incident.

The images you see here are the single frames (one after the other) to give an idea of how intensively and quickly this plane lost altitude.

This happened on flight SKG M07 (LGW-FNC, London Gatwick to Madeira). The aircraft is grounded until further inspections are made and test flights will have to be conducted within the area, whereafter this plane will be flown to XFW/Hamburg Finkenwerder airport for some more testing.

Good news is that the A321neo and A321xlr will be used soon; those will also be tested at XFW Airport.

So guys the reason I haven’t been posting for a couple of days now is because I’m sick (since last Thursday). Expect a stable upload rhythm/schedule again THIS week Thursday (the 11th of December).

Additionally, here’s some aviation news:

Air Transat has announced that they will be striking, starting December 10 and lasting approximately 72 hours. This time it’s not about flight attendants but mainly pilots (as far as I’m concerned, correct me if I’m wrong in the comments)

Series that will/won’t be continued:
Special Liveries: discontinued (sorry, but it’s gonna be too exhausting to finish this series)
Special Aircraft that I’ve Spotted: continued, on hold because I need to spot some more special aircraft

‼️ Thunderbird 5 from the USAF Thunderbirds has crashed. The pilot ejected safely and he's recovering from his injury.

Edit: Importantly, this happened during a TB practice session, not an actual airshow.

Two light planes have collided in Sydney not long ago, with at least 1 of the 2 pilots sadly not making it.
The footage shows a huge fireball with sparks coming from it, it was a really deadly midair collision.
