An Indian HAL Tejas crashed at the Dubai Air Show yesterday. The pilot sadly did not survive because the aircraft in question plummeted into the ground shortly after takeoff, very low and fast.

The airshow demos are apparently now on hold. (Not sure until when)

An Embraer ERJ-145 crashed today somewhere at Kolwezi. It apparently touched down VERY late and the inside footage (photos, video footage) of the landing show a gear collapse shortly after touchdown.

Now, the good news is:
Everyone survived.

A Turkish C130 has crashed near the Georgia-Azerbaijan border today, with the footage showing that it came down (spiralling) in 3 different parts. On board were at least 20 people on board.

This means that the aircraft could’ve potentially been shot down, as I don’t see any other reason why it should come down in multiple parts.

Might write an update when there’s more information on the crash, rest in peace to the victims on board and let’s hope that no other major crash happens this year… 🕊️

Updates on the Crash in Lousville:

The MD-11 in question lost its LEFT engine, which had caught fire shortly before the pilots attempted to lift off

3 people were confirmed dead at first, then the number increased and is still expected to increase throughout the next few hours.

CCTV has now released the close up footage of it too.

Rest in peace to all the victims 🕊️
