Had the best cheesecake of my life so far at SISI Cakes in Łódź, of all places. It's with a pinch of salt rather than extremely sugary and it was absolutely brilliant. Super soft and silky as well. They are made fresh on-site.
U Kalmana in Łódź is one of my favourite restaurants in Poland. It's my second time here. The steak was good. Service is what makes the place excellent. The mix of local Jewish and Polish food makes it a typical Łódź place. Pricing is on point and not exaggerated. It is right in Manufaktura but many people overlook it.
Something I low-key really appreciate about Poland is the complete silence in public transport, most times. And how people whisper in restaurants. It makes it very peaceful and only Finland and Latvia have the same mentality from what I've seen. The Netherlands is the complete opposite. Possibly the most extroverted country, combined with Spain and Italy.
Went to BarryKent Kraftowe Hot Dogi for their Currywurst. As a big fan of the German sausage I would say it was good as a hotdog, but it was not a Currywurst pur sang. I doubt I will be able to find the original thing in Warsaw.
