BACK TONIGHT! IT'S DAYTONA SPEEDWEEKS!

Starting the journey to (hopefully) winning my first Daytona 500 with trucks. At 6:45ct we'll give a go in the eNASCAR Road To Pro Qualifier truck race at Daytona tonight.

Thursday the 12th is the day. We will warmup with a Busch series race before the Daytona 500 at 8pm ct. It will be my 500th oval start as well.

Approaching 500 oval starts on iRacing, and I would like to make No. 500 the race I want to win the most .. the iRacing Daytona 500 special event.

The 500 is not for a couple more weeks, so here’s the plan. This week, on Thursday night at 8pm, we will attempt the 94 lap NiS race at Talladega, and then be done with oval until the week of the 500.

Seems like a good time for me to get working on my sportscar license which is in the dumps right now.

So tomorrow, Wednesday, we will take part in the DIRL Mustang League race, and I’m really looking at wanting to try the new Porsche Cup car. Porsche Cup is at Monza this week (uh oh). So we will tackle that for most of the week.

Streams this week WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY around 6pm central!

Also — I asked AI to compare my stats to some real life drivers that I would compare to and the top answer was Jamie McMurray….could be worse??

Going to attempt to go live at 9:30CT for iRacing mixed bag. Mainly 87s at Talladega and GR86 at the Nurburgring. My sportscar license is …. Not looking good.
