Spent the week live-streaming, teaching, and building the ACT OS system in real time.
Now I’m polishing prompts, refining strategy, and tightening up the Excel flows while planes take off in the background.
A reminder that you can build a business you love—anywhere in the world—as long as your system travels with you.
The mission continues—one prompt, one flight, one bold move at a time.

$48.94 later we have a winner (almost failed completely)
How do you know the BEST Thumbnail, Ad, email, landing page, etc?
TEST...
😳 Almost published a bad thumbnail; here’s what happened:
I tested 3 thumbnail designs and used YouTube In-Feed (channel targeting) to see which one did best.
Each day, I manually switched out the Thumbnails since YouTube/Google won’t do it for you automatically.
Thanks to Google Ads approval delays it took a full week to run the full test….
I thought for sure thumbnail C, ‘$10k/mo Business Plan’ would be the winner based upon what I see other channels doing.
Not so.
Thumbnail B: ‘Consulting Business Plan’ was the clear winner at a 2.63% View Rate.
I’m finding that less text on the thumbnail and just being clear on the content of the video seems to be working best. Use your titles for the curiosity building.
Had to share it now since the video version will take a while....
Also keep in mind my tests are with tutorials - not vlogs / entertainment. These thumbnails would get killed in those spaces so this really applies if you make helpful tutorial style content for your audience.
More experiments and results on the way for vlog and commentary style videos which are a completely different animal. Embarrassingly I know my vlog thumbnails are not up to par and have quite a ways to go.
Welcome to entrepreneurship. Always something else to fix, learn, and test.

I make zero "passive income"….
I work 45 -50 hours a week…
Every day it feels like there is another thing to fix….
My "automated systems" need maintenance...
Saturdays are my favorite day because it allows me to ‘catchup’ on what I actually wanted to work on….
AND YET - I’ve never felt more free.
Even though this has taken so much more work and sacrifice than I ever could have imagined - it’s worth it to enjoy a view like this while I work away on another client project.
Before going full time as a digital nomad I’d work from Seattle Coffee shops. Now I get to work 30 stories up with a view like this. Same work; different view.
Whatever your dream, remember that there is no ‘easy button’ and there’s always a goal to aspire too.
Comment below; what’s your ‘Dream’ spot to work from?
It’s back to Google slides for me. Webinar case study in progress 🤓

Wow did you guys pile on the comments! 🔥 And I failed you....
Sorry I've been so MIA over the past month with replying to comments and all your emails....
Long story short I had hernia surgery (guess I should have skipped leg day) and then got C19 the week after. Just terrible timing 😟. Luckily I'd recorded a bunch of content ahead of time so my team just spaced out the posts until I could come back.
If you've asked a question over the past 6 weeks; not ignoring you. I just haven't been able to work.
One of the things I love about this business model is being able to take time when you need it and not have everything fall apart.... don't get me wrong YouTuber/Agency Owner/ Digital Course Creator - among the other hats I wear is far from passive... but they all can be automated enough you can take long breaks.
Which is what this channel is dedicated to sharing. How you can build the same type of business and lifestyle that allows for the breaks when you need to take them.
Even though most people won't care that if I ever reply; I stick by my commitment to reply to every single one which is what I'll be working towards over the coming days. So if you still have questions just drop them below or re-send your email because it's probably lost in the abyss....
Thank you for your continued support and I sincerely hope the new guides we have coming out about creating courses and growing a consultancy help you to make 2022 your breakout year! 💯
P.S. - Yes, I really did waste 10 minutes counting up all the comments 🤓

DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA!
In case you missed it my most recent vlog was first impresssions of the Insta360 One R as a replacement for GoPro to vlog. Now I messed up and posted the vlog without adding a not about what I had learned since filiming. In short, don't buy this camera, and your phone is going to do such a better job.
The longer version of what I learned below. Mostly doing this because I'm sick of wathcing tech reviews and tutorials only to find a major issue when I finally pull the trigger to buy.
After going through the editing process for this vlog and traveling with it for a week I can't recommend this to anyone. Look, the quality is great and the software is easy to use. Not buggy like GoPro. However it comes at a steep cost. All footage has to be rendered through the Insta360 mobile app; not the desktop editor. So if you want stabalization you have to render it through your phone and save it to your internal memory.
Practially this means your phone turns into a brick for a few hours and you have to have the internal space to save all of your video files. Luckily I have an old phone, but it took over 5 hours to complete the stabalization/enhancement process on my LG V20. The screen has to stay on the entire time and the camera has to stay connected the entire time. So both were plugged in for half a day to get this done. On top of that, all 10gb+ of footage had to be saved to the internal memory!
I get I can be a little old school wanting to do everything on my laptop. I hate being told I have to use a mobile app to do anything.
Personal bais aside, it's hard to recommed using a device that just doesn't work without having an extra phone lying around.
Plus, for you fellow privicy people out there, the app will not work unless you enable location tracking. As in the entire app will not load unless you allow it (android).
If I could return this, I would in a heart beat. Only being able to render on a phone and being forced to share my location for no reason is beyond silly.
Plus, in case you don't watch the vlog - it takes 3 seconds to start and stop. Mearning you'll always have a 6 second delay inbetween your shots - I'm currently traveling it's gone from a minior annoyce to nails on a chalk board. Do not buy this camera.
WIth all that negativity out of the way - What's been your go to camera for content creation. I'm so close to just going back to using my phone as the quality is just as good as these cameras if not better thanks to the software.

It's amazing to see these videos hit 10K views. It's been over a year and the drawbacks of webinar software are more real than ever before!
