lately i’ve been navigating the dichotomy of my love life, one second immersed in it's beautiful waters to then months or even years in the desert. not because of it's absence but purely because of my fear of encountering it. of finding a little seed powerful enough to be planted in the middle of my heart and watch it slowly blossom, growing roots, then a stem, then leaves and flowers. until the roots are so inter winded in the existence of my being that removing them would take my heart with it.
i've always been in love with love and it's many possibilities, as a young girl and a pisces. i've had immense facility in falling in love, a love so profound it felt like jumping off a twenty foot cliff into a roaring ocean. on the other side i haven't had much luck in finding others that navigated the journey of love in the same depths as my soul craved, many just dipping their toes in the water, safely in the shore.
i've never been afraid to love, until one day seven years ago i reached my version of rock bottom, the world around me had become progressively darker in the months preceding that point, but they’re was one thing keeping me warm and giving me the illusion of comfort, him. as a warm hug in the shivering weather, love saved my life or so i thought, maybe i was foolish thinking at eighteen. that love could save me, for a long while i held on tightly, as tightly. as someone hanging from a cliff, holding onto another hands can hold, until the moment he let go. and this time i was free falling into the abyss. they’re wasn’t waters of love or Aphrodite kiss to save me. it was just me free falling, as the darkness around me became all encompassing, as if the veil that shielded me from it taking over, was finally lifted. there i was, facing it all.
as the version of me that survived it, i can safety say i look back upon it was a open heart, i understand that, that free fall was the catalyst to my spiritual awakening and the first epic transformation in my life. i look back and see clearly how that experience was necessary for me to exist as the version of me, that is writing this today.
all that to say, since then the dessert has been very sunny and i think the little fish that resides within, is desperately gasping for air. the need for water had become severe, i've realised how long i've kept myself from breathing. after four years of drought i decided i was done running, if love would tear we apart again i would let it, and see what transformation would come of that. as i waited at the abyss, i encountered parter after after and held out my hand. a silent invitation to leap, i soon realised it would take a very courageous person to dive into the oceans of love with me in the way i desired. i started losing hope, wondering if all consuming love was reserved just for teenagers. for those foolish enough to believe, before a love that lingers and that tears us open makes us retreat, hide, run.
one day as i was sitting at the brink of giving up i saw a extended hand, not beside me but in front of me. as if that being was floating above the abyss. his feet weren't in the soil beneath me and i understood something. years before my heart was ripped from my chest, before i had the privileged to put the pieces back together. i fell for that specific soul, and he fell even harder. the man standing in front of me had the capacity to leap, he was already free falling. as if without choice, as if the moment he first saw me was the moment cupid pushed him down the rabbit hole into the beauty of the unknown and he had been subtly falling ever since. taking breaks here and there, the seed that i planted in the fertile soil of his heart had been slowly blossoming ever since.
i didn’t expect him, i didn’t see it coming, all i did was take his hand, and as we fell all the pieces of the puzzle clicked into place. i realised why all those others where afraid, by it didn’t work out with anybody but this specific man, standing in from of me with his heart beating out of his chest. a heart that been afraid to love, loving so freely. the fall lasted a few weeks, when we finally reached the bottom, the tide was so enamours, so breathtaking we both searched desperately for cover, for safety. there was nothing safe in the intensity of this love.
i navigated the waters alone for months, hoping i would encounter him looking for me and then realised, maybe this wasn’t what i thought. maybe this was the catalyst, to help me realise i held within me the capacity to love again, i was finally brave and strong enough. but something was different about this love, somehow i was still submerged, still swimming. i wanted to fly back to the top of the abyss and wait for the next special someone. but i couldn't. all i found when i searched was me.
i later realised this process wasn't the absence of love, it was a invitation for a deeper amount of self love. the storms i weathered in the months to come, weren’t in the absence of a partner but in the full presence of myself. maybe one of the most crucial parts of this journey. i was learning how to swim, survive and find bliss while navigating the complexity of the beautiful sea. i had found safety before, feet in the sand, sun on my face, in the dessert i had called home for the seven previous years. my cocoon, a home where i was safe, safe from "love". this was a different challenge a different obstacle. i was standing strong in myself, choosing myself in love. for a girl that only knew all encompassing love , i was learning to still choose myself when the waters were surround me, how to not abandon myself in the pursuit of romantic love. because one thing doesn't rule out the other, strong sense of self might be the most fertile soil for a love to bloom.
i haven't reached the shore yet, somedays i'm floating in deep bliss and somedays i catch myself slightly gasping for air. i wonder often if this is another catalyst. a love that serves as a muse for poetry and creative expression. or if it is something greater. we often think of love as two people living one journey. i think it's more profound than that. it's two ecosystems colliding, of course we both plant seeds in each others gardens but we each have our own garden to tend to. romantic love might not be the most significant part of the journey, contrary to what i often thought, maybe love is more of a “gardener” in the magnificent garden of us.
a love that enters your sacred garden to redirect your focus onto yourself, so you can tend to your flowers in the most beautiful way, while letting those seeds flourish. then maybe one day when were both floating in the sea of our love, we can meet again, as passing ships in the night, not dependent on each other, dramatically free but choosing to walk this path alongside each other. maybe one of the most romantic things someone can do for us, is choose themselves as they drown and find the strength to sustain the journey and then find us again when they’re able to offer us the love we deserve, instead of holding tightly as they drown, taking us alongside with them.
maybe , just maybe this love will find me again, ti'll then i'll be tending to my garden and watching my flowers bloom.

hi beautiful little beings 🐛 i wanted to tell you about a part of my channel that is very close to my heart — my healing frequencies playlist. a little whisper from my soul to yours, a gentle embrace from mother gaia, and a moment of sacred pause. where we can release the energies that no longer serve us, align with our highest timeline, and embrace the beauty of life. recenter ourselves and grow, blossoming into who we want to become while still honouring the present and past versions of ourselves. it's a true blessing to be able to share these moments with you. i love you. happy healing 🤍 the playlist is waiting for you 🐛🧚🏻🎨🧚🏼♀️🌈
hi loves 🐛 i have a little series on the channel that honestly means so much to me — it's all about the subtle, mystical beauty hidden inside fairy tales that we were too young to notice as kids. the stories we grew up with are actually maps. sleeping beauty, little red riding hood, hansel and gretel, jack and the beanstalk — they were never just bedtime stories. they're invitations to awaken something inside us. when you revisit them through the lens of spiritual growth, shadow work, and jungian psychology, they stop being about princes and witches and start being about YOU. about the parts of yourself you've been asleep to. about the magic that was always there but got buried under adulthood and logic and all the noise. these fairy tales have helped me understand my own healing journey, my feminine awakening, my relationship with trust and fear and love. and i think they might do the same for you. if you're craving something gentle, deep, and a little bit magical — come sit with me. let's remember together what these stories were really trying to tell us 🌷🦋✨ the playlist is waiting for you 🐛🧚🏼♀️🦜🎨🧚🏻🌈
