Hey everyone. I wanted to give a little update about the channel and why uploads have slowed down lately, as I like to keep you all in the loop. While I have ideas for videos I would love to make for you guys, I am not taking on any projects at this time.
Over the past several months, I've been dealing with some pretty significant struggles in my personal life and with my mental health. I was seriously considering suicide and the stress of getting the Arcadia video out did not help. While I am so grateful for positive response to that video, the process of getting it finished was a grueling experience. I don't want to get into every detail publicly, but I've reached a point where I've had to acknowledge that there are things in my life I need to seriously work on and recover from rather than continuing to push them aside.
A lot of my time and energy right now is going toward that. Therapy, support groups, working on myself, and generally just trying to get to a healthier place mentally. It's been difficult, and some days I simply don't have the energy or time to sit down and spend hours researching, writing, recording, and editing like I used to.
I wanted to be upfront about this because I know some of you have noticed the slower uploads, and I don't want anyone thinking I've abandoned the channel or lost my passion for making videos. I haven't. I still love creating, I still have videos I want to make, and I'm incredibly grateful that there are people who actually want to watch them.
I'm just realizing that, at least for now, burying myself in work rather than facing my issues head on will do nothing for me and would only effect the quality of the material I put out. And you all deserve the best I can give.
So uploads will probably continue to be slower and a little less predictable for a while. When something is finished, it's finished. I don't want to rush videos or sacrifice my health just to meet an arbitrary schedule.
I'm still here. I'm still creating. I'm just trying to give myself the time I need to become healthier while doing it.
Thank you to everyone who continues to watch, comment, support the channel, or just quietly stick around between uploads. It genuinely means a lot to me.
I'll let you all know that the next video I have in mind could be something different from what I've done before. I want to try and do something outside of analog horror. While still covering some dark material of course.

I cannot express how thankful I am for you all treating me like a human. I'm probably in the most emotionally painful time of my life right now, and those comments help keep my head on straight when I start feeling guilty.

Just got home from watching Obsession. I know I'm late as usual, but damn. I will not be sleeping easy tonight. Best horror movie I've seen in a long time.
A seriously psychologically terrifying experience. The bedroom scene had me in a cold sweat. I haven't been scared like that in a long time, while also laughing out loud. Just incredible.
I highly recommend if you haven't caught it yet. I'll be checking out the backrooms movie here soon as well.

Thinking about maybe recording a quick update video for you all. Just to let you all know what's been happening and why it's taking so long. Because it also applies to how I'll be handling content moving forward.
