So, my friend‪@NecroMechaKing‬and I have been recording ourselves watching and commenting on the first season of Arcane. On the whole, we're pretty critical of it. But I think its various problems are fascinating: they reveal a lot about the art of storytelling.

Personally, I don't think we really hit our stride until the 1 hour mark. So if you don't like the opening you might just skip ahead.

‪@NecroMechaKing‬ put a ton of effort into making these recordings possible, for which I am very grateful! I just showed up to the party. Nevertheless he insisted on putting me in the thumbnail. I insisted he take me out. This was the compromise.

Jack's made a new website! I just took a look at it for myself. If you are interested in Socionics and its perspective on typology, Jack's website looks like a very handy, easy to navigate resource.

And in case you're wondering, no, he did not sponsor me to say any of this. The announcement video showed up in my feed, and I decided I would give him a shout-out. Jack has done wonderful work in typology, and I like what he's doing with the website. Give it a look!

Hello all,

Some time ago, my original INFP video was taken down by YouTube for having disturbing imagery: namely, a photograph of a self-immolating monk from the Vietnam War.

This should have been easy enough to patch up. Unfortunately, when I was first making videos I did not have the foresight to preserve the original files (where I put all the images and audio together). I have been unable to locate them, anyway. And even if I did, there would likely be compatibility issues from that original program.

I'm sure there are other ways to patch the video up, but I confess I have delayed that hassle on account of other obligations associated with my academic work and private life.

However, a fan recently emailed me, asking about the video, and explaining the importance it had for them and others in the community.

So, I'm going to try to get it back up as soon as possible. And I apologize for delaying the process for this long. I am honored that my videos continue to be helpful for people even ten years later. In the future I will try to be more vigilent about maintaining my older videos.

This fellow has really raised the bar for the production value of typology videos! The video below is on the four quadras/temperaments. I'm, of course, flattered that he references my work :) But even beyond that, I felt he did an excellent job capturing the spirit of the temperaments and presenting the information clearly and beautifully.
