Hey folks! I have a couple of important updates for you regarding the future of the channel.

First off, there will be a new video this month. It will be pretty different from anything I've made thus far, but I think it will spark a really interesting and valuable conversation. It'll be on the shorter side, so expect it in the coming weeks.

The video after that will be my first foray into the 3D Zelda games with a retrospective on Ocarina of Time! I anticipate this video being quite long, so I'm not sure when exactly I can finish it for reasons I will explain later. You might be wondering why Bloodborne isn't next, considering the results of the poll from a while back. I made a lot of progress on the script and gathering footage, but I had to shelve it for the time being. It's still a game I very much want to cover -- it's just one I'll need to return to with a fresh mind when the time is right.

Those are my plans for the immediate future, but the reason I'm writing this post is to be honest about the frequency of uploads going forward. Later this month, I will begin my first semester in graduate school as a full-time student. This is in addition to my full-time job, so as you can imagine, I will have significantly less time to work on videos. Pair that with the fact that I'm getting married, and I'm in for a pretty packed second half of 2026.

I do not know how many more videos I will be able to create this year beyond what I've laid out. I'm thinking through ways I can stay just as active on here as usual, but I haven't come up with anything concrete yet. I'm hoping that I can adjust to things after a full semester and the wedding is off my plate, but we'll see. There is also the possibility that all of these life changes aren't as time-consuming as I think they will be, and most of this can be disregarded lmao.

If the result is that I upload less often than normal, just remember that I'm busy with nothing but positive things. Thank you all so much for your support these last few years. There's not a day that goes by where I don't think about how lucky I am to do this sort of thing, even for a small audience. Hope to see you in the comments of my next video. <3

Hey everyone!

Couple of quick updates for ya. First off, THANK YOU SO MUCH for 9k subs! Just 1k more until the big milestone. I can't express how grateful I am!

My plan this month was to put out the Persona 3 video, but I won't be able to finish it until June. The reason is that I got a really cool opportunity to make a different, time-sensitive video this month, and it's one I'm very excited about! I hope you're all interested in it, as well. I'm having a blast working on it.

The plan after Persona 3 is to work on Bloodborne, which was the winner of the poll a few weeks back! I've been working on it consistently since that post and enjoying the process. Thanks again for all your support!

Hey, y'all!

Just wanted to give a quick update on what I've been working on. I'm a ways into editing the long-awaited Link's Awakening video! I love this game, and I'm pretty excited to finally talk about it. Expect to see it up here sometime this month.

I've also been chipping away at a Persona 3 video since the beginning of this year. I'm nearly done recording gameplay footage and have a good chunk of the script written, so I'm hoping it won't be too long before you get to see it yourselves.

I have a couple of other ideas floating around that I am eager to work on as well, so please look forward to those videos!

Quick Prime 4 video update:

I had planned on having this thing finished by the end of February, but a lot of stuff has been going on my life lately that prevented that from happening. I will continue chipping away at it with the hope of getting it up in the next 2 weeks. I'm about 60% of the way through the edit. In the meantime, here is one of the thumbnails!

Hey folks, got a couple of updates to share relating to the future of the channel.

My goal for February is to get 2 videos out. One will be a compilation of my 3D Mario videos with some bonus content thrown in to make for a more 'complete' series retrospective. So, don't be alarmed by a random 5-hour 3D Mario video probably coming soon lol.

The next video will be on Metroid Prime 4. It will be a pretty lengthy one, but I'm confident I can complete it in the coming weeks. The script is nearly finished, so be on the lookout!

Beyond (pun intended) those videos, there are a few more I have in mind and in active development; videos that discuss games you might not necessarily expect from this channel. I still consider myself pretty new to this whole YouTube thing, so the videos I've made up to this point, I almost view as 'training.' These last few years have been spent trying to find my own unique voice and style, and that is a goal I'm still working toward. But one thing will always be true: my content will be a reflection of my interests at the time.

My current vision for the future of this channel is to cover a variety of different games, but focus on RPGs, action games, and series retrospectives. (Similar to my DKC/Mario Kart videos) Nintendo isn't going anywhere, trust me; I still plan on covering 2D Metroid, Xenoblade Chronicles, Zelda--just to name a few.

I have a few videos in the works on games like Persona 3, Bloodborne, Dark Souls, Undertale, and even more ideas I haven't started on yet. I would also like to do some more off-the-cuff or broader topic videos, but I haven't settled on anything as of now.

As always, I am not making any promises here. My life continues to get busier and more chaotic, so I will work on videos when I feel like it. Thank you all so much for your support over the past year--y'all are the reason I keep doing this!

Happy near year, everybody! Just wanted to make a quick announcement that there most likely will not be a video uploaded to the channel this month. Instead, I will take the time to work on a variety of projects and hopefully develop a healthy pipeline for the next couple of months. I already have a couple of videos in the works that I think you'll enjoy! (Picture maybe related ;))
