My repetitive breakfast for the next five days. A soft poached egg on a bed of white rice, with a pat of butter, salt and pepper. And half of an apple. So good, so frugal! What frugal meals are you having this week?
Sadie got the pet bed first. Mama Kitty (aka Sweetie Pie) and her son Michael just look on. I wonder what they’re thinking. It’s a very foggy day here today. How are things in your neck of the woods?
Oh the humble chicken drumstick! So disdained, so maligned, unless you are a kid of course. I think the kids are on to something lol. I seasoned these inexpensive drumsticks with salt, pepper and paprika and baked uncovered at 375F until tender. I didn’t even turn them. So beautiful and so delicious. Many meals for myself and my little dog Sadie. You know you want some. Oh, by the way, these were 50% off at Aldi.
Happy New Year 2026! I would like to leave this with you. "Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers." 3 John 1:2 Peace Be With All Of You! God Bless!
I think you’ll want to make these for the holiday or any day. So simple to make! I call them “Sugar Nuts”, just for fun. https://youtu.be/0JJQFn-ur9A?si=Md8PE...
