As usual, I'm here to announce that my newest video is dropping next week! However, it's a lil bit different than what I've posted in the past.

The last month has been significantly busier than usual for me in my personal life, so in order to ensure I don't feel any sort of burnout, I haven't done as much work on videos as usual. That being said, I wanted to post SOMETHING for you guys instead of taking another break, so that gave me the idea - why not give you a taste of some PATREON EXCLUSIVE CONTENT.

If you've been watching the stupid shorts I've been posting, you probably know that on Patreon, I've been doing a series of videos making fun of terrible, terrible JRPG reviews from years past. The most recent one was about Flights of Fantasy's review of Final Fantasy VII, which, in case you haven't seen it, is indescribably stupid. A few days ago I thought - why not post it here for everyone on YouTube to see? It gives me some easy content to post, gives me more time to work on my actual videos, and is a decent way to advertise my Patreon (which is patreon.com/TJTheEmperor pleez czech it out lolol shameless plug).

It's another recommendation list - since I made some recommendations for turn-based JRPGs last year, I wanted to do a similar video for action RPGs. I know I haven't been super active since I released the Terranigma video, so I wanted to put out an update post. I fully intended on putting stuff out more regularly after the Terranigma video released, but, long story short, at around that same time, I switched to a new antidepressant. Historically, any adjustments to my medication takes, at minimum, a month to normalize, and that's exactly what I've been dealing with - because of that, I've barely worked on any YouTube stuff, like, at all, since then.

HOWEVER - I'm sure you noticed that I did put some stuff out, namely a couple stupid shorts of me making fun of a horrible review of Xenosaga Episode II that aired on X-Play in the mid-2000s. I'm pretty sure I've posted about this before, but in case I haven't - those shorts are excerpts from a series I've started doing as a Patreon exclusive, wherein I, well, make fun of terrible JRPG reviews lol. The next video is coming, and it's gonna be a doozy: it's the final episode of The History of Quintet, where I lookat Terranigma.

If you know anything about Terranigma, you know it's an imposing game to discuss, and this was probably the most difficult video for me to write for that reason. Nevertheless, I think it turned out well, so I hope everyone enjoys it.
