Thinking about obelisks today!

There are lots of ways to bring height to a planter and obelisks are one of my favorites! 🤩 Swipe to see the many types of obelisks I use and you can read on if you’d like to know some top tips about where I get them and when I use them!

I love using Abutilon inside an obelisk. I find obelisks control the Abutilon and bring some order to it’s outreaching, tentacle-like branches so the plant is supported and looks more bushy! This obelisk is a fave from Gardener’s Supply called Nocturne Pot Obelsik.

I have 1 clematis climbing over this large Verona obelisk from Gardener’s Supply underplanted with euphorbia hybrid. The height was what I was going for here! The Verona has a classic shape and is lightweight and easy to set up!

These obelisks came from Hobby Lobby and were the right price, came in a variety of sizes in black. Which goes to show that price isn’t an indicator of charm!

Succulent window box saying hi today!

It’s getting hotter around here so it’s time to move the succulents to shade and pull back on watering a bit!! This window box gets filtered sun throughout the day and I water about once or twice per week which keeps these guys happy!

A little update on the rose patio washbins. I think they are definitely looking “mesmerising”! I am so happy with the salvia and the bouganvillea especially! Noah is giving me the so-so vote! 😂😂 I hope your kids appreciate your flowers more then mine do! 🤣
