I didn’t truly succeed (professionally or personally) until I stopped feeling like someone less and embraced assimilation.
For years, I carried the immigrant chip on my shoulder
I felt like an outsider, disconnected and hopeless
That didn’t change until I accepted I was different and chose to fully assimilate. I learned the language, culture, and committed to becoming part of the native community.
I’m Alex a Polish immigrant who arrived in the UK with £200 and a bicycle. I built multiple businesses, sold two, and now run The Non Native Community a private space for honest conversations, problem-solving, and turning ideas into income.
Kind of place I wish I had when I was starting out, lost, and looking for direction.
On this channel, we talk business, culture, politics, and personal growth from the perspective of people building a life where they weren’t born.

10 months ago I was recording YouTube videos with almost no traction.
