ইস্ট বেঙ্গলের আসল শক্তি মাঝমাঠ। মিগুয়েল, সাউল ও রশিদের কম্বিনেশন দলের মেরুদন্ড। এরমধ্যে বক্স টু বক্স খেলেন সাউল। অন্যদিকে প্যালেস্তাইনের রশিদ কিছুটা স্ন্যাচ করতে পারেন। মিগুয়েল প্রধানত প্লে-মেকার। সাউল না থাকায় সোয়বার্গ ও নাওরেম মহেশকে দিয়ে জায়গা ভরাটের চেষ্টা করেছিলেন অস্কার। কিন্তু দু’জনেই আশাহত করেছেন। মাঝমাঠ তো দানা বাঁধেইনি, উল্টে ছন্দ নষ্ট হয়েছে মিগুয়েলের। প্রতিপক্ষের জোনাল মার্কিংয়ে হাঁসফাঁস করছেন তিনি। ধৈর্য হারিয়ে অহেতুক শট নিয়ে তালগোল পাকাচ্ছেন। সাউলকে পাশে পেলে লোড কিছুটা কমবে। পাশাপাশি ড্যানিশ ফুটবলার সোয়বার্গের ভূমিকা দেখেও অনেকে বিস্মিত। নড়াচড়া শ্লথ। বক্স টু বক্স মিডিওর ভূমিকায় তিনি অচল। মূলত বিপক্ষের অ্যাটাকিং থার্ডই সোয়বার্গের জায়গা। সাউল ফিরলে সোয়বার্গকে আপফ্রন্টে ব্যবহার করতে পারেন অস্কার। তবে স্প্যানিশ কোচের উপরেও চাপ বাড়ছে। গত কয়েক বছরের তুলনায় বেশ শক্তিশালী দল গড়েছে ইস্ট বেঙ্গল।

21 তারিখের পর তো মনে হয় আবার সব বিদেশিদের স্পেন বা মালয়েশিয়া পাঠানোর টিকিট কেটে দিতে হবে

ফিরে আসবেন আনফিট হয়ে অথবা চোটগ্রস্ত হয়ে
তাদের ফিট করতে করতেই সিজ্ন শেষ

মোদ্দা হিসেব কোচ তো বলেই দিয়েছেন আমাদের এবারের লক্ষ্য 14 দলের মধ্যে প্রথম অর্ধেকের মধ্যে থাকা

In a short league of 13 matches, your team—sorry, our East Bengal—has already dropped 5 points in the first four matches and fallen behind in the title race. Yet, as the head coach, you say you are not disappointed with the team's performance.

This season there were huge expectations among the supporters. Many believed this team could finally become champions. Naturally, when those expectations aren't met, frustration and anger among supporters are completely normal—something that happens with fans of every team in the world.
Normally, such reactions push a team to improve, to play better, and to fight harder to win. But instead of correcting the mistakes in your coaching and within the team, you have started fighting against the supporters themselves. Anyone who asks even a simple question or expresses disappointment gets blocked and labelled as a “fake fan.”

Dear Oscar Bruzon, you may have been with this club for one or one and a half years, but the supporters you are calling “fake” have stood beside this club for decades. Some for 5 years, some for 10, and some for more than 50 years. They were there when East Bengal was winning National Leagues and the ASEAN Cup, and they were also there in the difficult years when the club had almost forgotten how to win.

To be honest, you had become very dear to these supporters. Because of you, the team started fighting again. A good squad was built, the league began well, the team reached two cup finals, performed well in the Durand Cup, and even showed good performances in the AFC competitions.

But today the rhythm of this team has been broken because of your own mistakes, and many supporters have started turning against you.

When supporters were frustrated after dropping points in consecutive matches, instead of understanding their pain, you turned these selfless and loving supporters into villains. Sometimes bringing up Saul in press conferences, sometimes posting on social media calling them fake fans, and sometimes simply blocking them.
Dear Oscar Bruzon, today you have chosen the wrong path. These same supporters who are disappointed today would have been celebrating you if the team had won a couple of matches. If the team performed well in the league, they would have carried you on their shoulders.

But for some unknown reason, you are creating distance yourself from the very spine of this club — the East Bengal supporters.

We hope that someday you will realise your mistake and understand the feelings of these selfless fans who have stood behind the team through thick and thin
