This channel aims to educate consumers about weaknesses and defects in security devices so they can make better security decisions. It should go without saying, but I’ll say it anyway: do not use any of the information presented in my videos for illegal purposes.
My mailing information is below. Do NOT send anything you want back unless I’ve agreed in advance to do so.

Please note that I do not recommend locks, nor do I provide assistance in opening them. For advice getting started in locksport, I recommend the “University” at LockLab.com. For all other inquiries, email me (channel name at gmail). One final note - I usually receive over one hundred emails each day, and though I spend a couple hours a day answering emails, I can’t answer them all. Apologies in advance if your email is one that slips through the cracks.

There are only 12 hours left to take advantage of the best prices of the year at
CovertInstruments.com. We only run two big sales a year, so after we shut this one down tonight at midnight (eastern time), you will not see prices this good again until July 4!

Would you like to see YouTube Shorts of some of my cutaway locks being operated? IMO, there’s nothing quite like the mechanical symphony of a high security lock in motion.
Pictured is a cutaway of an older ASSA Twin.

In video 1482, I was unable to show you the insides of an S&G Environmental padlock because it was pinned shut. Thanks to the generosity of “l0ckcr4ck3r,” an extraordinarily talented cutaway artist, I can now show you what you missed. Note how spaced out the discs are, so they can’t be jammed up with debris.

I’m too excited not to tease this a little… I can’t show you too much yet, but it’s something every locksmith in country will want in their case. We’re currently building up our inventory for release.

Special thanks go to JerryRigEverything for clarifying in today’s video that we are not the same person. That said, the video shows that he definitely knows his way around locks.
Maybe it’s just me, but I think he sounds even better today. 🤷🏻♂️ Check out the video:

Some of the most prized locks in my collection are cutaways. Unfortunately, high quality examples tend to be very hard to find and absurdly expensive. I decided to change that. We just released a batch of custom-made cutaways with machining that is truly second to none. Whether you use them as a demonstration piece or display item, these will not disappoint.
