Update to the last big life update!

I have managed to get my old job back & now have found out that I need to 100% secure a place by the time I graduate AKA: I have 4 months. On top of that, school also starts tomorrow! So starting tomorrow, I'll be starting my last semester while resuming the hustle. This means my time has a content creator & streamer is gonna be shrunken down a bit if more of a "when I can, I will" basis.

The schedule has me with Mon-Thr would be spent trying to make sure I've finished my school work while Fri-Sun are my days on the job working from 5 PM till either close or if I'm working a section that has to close up early (I work as a server in a restaurant bar that has some sections that close with the kitchen while others are bar exclusive. The former closes up with the kitchen). This means, in order to have the time needed for DarkAbridgerEX or Twitch, I either have to finish some school work quick or get assigned the sections that close up early. This WILL be challenging because I'm taking 4 classes for once. That's a FULL TIME STUDENT while still being a weekend warrior on the job. Plus, I do have ADHD. So I require a lil extra time & focus to actually get work done.

Either ways, it's gonna be a lil tricky to do my thing. I think the lack of progress I've made since transferring from my community college to CSU has spoken volumes on that front (I transferred on the Fall of 2020 for reference). Hopefully once the semester is done & I get my piece of paper saying "I finished college," I'll get some time back on my off days. But I will also need to have found a place to move into by then. It's gonna get wild for these next few months IRL.

I will for sure be streaming on Twitch (DanteDarkAndersonEX) for the weekend of October 15th for my birthday as I've requested those days off! So I won't be entirely gone, but LORD is gonna take some effort to be back in any capacity!

ON ACTUAL DARKABRIDGEREX RELATED NOTES. I will make sure that Resident Evil 4 SP00D's remastered version gets done before REmake 4 comes out. I'm still going through the script to update lines & have been communicating with some of my VAs to replace certain roles. I've heard so much nice things from you guys saying how much you loved the version you've seen as it is & I'm thankful for that. If enjoyed how Shoot My Weak Points turned out, you will definitely love how RE 4 SP00D will have improved on that front.

So stay tuned. I'm still here. I won't let abridging die.

I have finally moved & settled in the new place & I hate it because the door is super thin & all the noise goes through it even when I bought something to suppress the sound/it's so thin that the sheet didn't do SHEET.
I had invested way too much in trying to compensate for my downgraded room that I have now been FORCED to get my job back because neither Patreon nor Twitch is gonna save me from my upcoming financial doom at the end of the year.
On top of that, I need to move out of my place, but I don't have JACK. So this will effect progress big time. Which sucks because I was really hoping I can turn all of that around by the start of 2023 when I was done with college, but alas... I'm an underdog artist trying to leave an impact in the sea of bigger fish.
The good news is on IRL stuff is that I DID manage to secure a 100% online only semester for my FALLnale at my CSU. So I don't have to commute. It's all at home! And my grants will cover the semester (not including any books I have to buy), so I don't have to spend over 2k on school. PHEW.
Other good news is that the Twitch growth is working & I'd like to believe I have been drawing in peeps to this channel from my exposure on there. Now I just need to dedicate time to pump more stuff out. It's gonna get messy when I gotta juggle a job in the equation for this. And once the end of August approaches, I'm going to be a full time student while working part time at my job. The real dead hours. Ugh.

NEWS (Do you guys just want a video of this instead of a large amount of text???)!
Summer classes end this week & I get a month off to free willy.
95% of the lines for Shoot My Weak Points Remake is complete! I could technically edit all the lines up until near the end (Waiting on one redo). Still waiting on SMWP V lines, process on that was moving a lil slower.
There is ALSO a plan to remaster the original SMWP EP 1 so I can stop cringing inside to the low quality of 2014 that ages worse with each passing year. But also there will be less flashing lights because the Arcade version used to have flashing lights for each shot & reload as part of the technology back then to register gunshots. So I'll of course be re-recording my lines from there & tweak some lines. REMAKE & REMASTER WILL STILL FEEL DIFFERENT FROM EACH OTHER FOR SPECIAL REASONS. So no worries, there's a point to these.

On ANOTHER NOTE of remastering stuff from 2014. I will be finally doing the remaster I had planned to do since episode 12 via Resident Evil 4 SP00D. Considering that was *technically* this channel's first SP00D (though RE 6 was what I returned with). For this we're streamlining & polishing the crap outta this SP00D via the ONE BIG SHOT style (With timestamps to mark "episodes"). So this time around Separate Ways gets chronologically included into the SP00D instead of a dedicated Ada flashback episode.
There's also a ton of rewriting on stuff that I thought either was weak, could make due to make sense, & in general uphold the quality brought by RE 2 & RE 3. Naturally, the later on we get into the series, the less that gets updated (At best it's just the fact I'm recording on my current mic VS my old Yeti).
For the sake of preserving some VAs that no longer work for me (like Salazar), I will be preserving their lines & any re-work I do still has to work with the context of their lines. That being said, that also means we finally get streamlined VAs because we went through several Ashleys in this journey, we have Sacred Tear to fully be Ada, some other VAs can replace some parts I did (that I'm okay with passing off), & so forth.
The reason I decided to do this now instead of doing Resident Evil 0 (aside from me wanting to polish RE 4 SP00D) is with the fact REmake 4 is basically spawning a REmake timeline where it feels like I should tackle that after handling all the pre-REmake stuff. That being said, the order I had in mind in regards to RE SP00Ds would be RE 4, RE 0, REmake 1, & Code Veronica. Code Veronica will happen later for the sake of building up material between Chris & Wesker.
Cherry on top is that I might include the HD Project's patch into this. So ya'll will visually know... THIS IS SOME SERIOUS REMASTERING WORK HERE.

And lastly. After living for 12 years at once place, we have been forced to move elsewhere. By next Friday, I'll be in the new place. The room was a bit of a downgrade, so I had to invest in a ton of things to make sure my room was as a good as my old one & that I can still do all my loud work without being disruptive. I hope this truly pays off in the long run because I don't like to backwards once I make progress moving forward. I really hope things can take off on both here, Patreon, & Twitch to help make those purchases worth something. But we'll have to see. I still have the Fall Semester left. Let's pray after I finally graduate that the DarkAbridgerEX is back to SP00D on- Wait... UHHHH...

Hey. Been a minute but we got two things under production/waiting for lines as I managed to pop out two scripts for Shoot My Weak Points before my summer classes started!
Thanks to HOTD Remake being on PC, we're gonna finally do Shoot My Weak Points Remake! Which will have some stuff from the original, polished & a few more things added on! I might also try to do a re-recording of the original SMWP EP 1 to polish it up to the modern quality I've presented (as a lot of my stuff prior to late 2015 is getting rougher around the edges with time).
Next was me FINALLY getting Vampire Night's script done! Didn't get to finish sooner since the semester kicked in & I swear all the writing classes drain comedy out of me. This one is gonna be a lil longer than HOTD's because there's a ton of cutscenes I'm utilizing. This one will be under Shoot My Weak Points V (for Vampire. Get it?).
Again, before anyone mentions Scarlet Dawn, I need to find a nice & friendly way to get a hold of that because I don't trust sketchy places.
Some other scripts are still in the work, but as I mentioned before, this final year in college amongst other stressful IRL things are kinda screwing with my pacing. So I'm hoping to turn that all around in 2023 & hopefully be in a better spot/a similar comfortable spot to make progress like I did in 2020. And since the 5k thing I had planned didn't play out as well as it did in my head... There's ONE SP00D that I will have to make as my final before I ever think of wrapping up DarkAbridgerEX.

Hey guys! Been a hot minute! Big post instead of a video! Hope ya'll are ready to read!
This week might be the week for ya'll in the streaming library. Aside from a collab I did & the fact I'm finally making progress past where I was when I streamed Deadly Premonition on here...

I TECHNICALLY DID ALREADY PLAY HOTD REMAKE ON THE SWITCH, but that was at a dead hour & I didn't get to play it as long as I wanted due to events. So a more properly timed stream on the PC version is planned for Friday & with Trexx's classic remastered OST (because oh my God the official music aside from Chapter 3's was kinda MEH)! And before you ask, yes, there is a plan to eventually make a SMWP for the remake. Maybe after finals I'll try to whip up a remastered script with some additional lines/scenes since I'm no longer bound by time restraints I had when SMWP was originally part of a collab (Formerly known as Gamers Gone Rabid). Vampire Night is ALSO IN THE BUCKETLIST & WAS GONNA BE DONE UNTIL I SAW HOW TAXING THE SEMESTER WAS & then me trying to get the ball rolling on Twitch (Which I have no clue if this helped out with the channel at all, but it would be nice if it did).

It took me 2 years but I'm finally going in to finally play Vergil. It sucks that the PS4 DIDN'T GET TURBO MODE WITH THIS. WHY? Does that REALLY gotta be locked behind a PS5 & a PC mod to access??? Oh well. We're gonna scum, with or without a turbo turkey dinner.

This is my last year at my college & I can see Fall Semester being busier than this one. So I've decided that after I finally get my damn degree, I'm just gonna keep going for a few more years trying to catch up & get more SP00Ds pumped out. I'm not leaving this channel for the pro world until I've at least got the main series of projects I started done (DMC, RE, SH, & HOTD- GM!18 is a lost cause to me at this point).
WHAT MY IDEAL VISION of what that should look like is that I have one half of the week dedicated to working on SP00D related stuff while the other half is gaming on Twitch. There might be weeks where I dedicate a full week to either side. Say for instance, I have one of those weeks where I'm in the editing portion of a SP00D I have so much fire to have that ready within a week & whatnot. So I'll spend the week making sure that's all done & dandy. That being said, there maybe a week where I do some kind of marathon gaming thing on Twitch.

This is only gonna hold up as long as I'm financially stable enough to keep going without the dangers of "hey you need an actual job." All of this goes out the window if that happens. So if you can/want/able to, please be sure to send support to either platform (Patreon or sub on Twitch) so that we can make sure 2023 is truly my comeback year/2nd 2020 (in terms of productivity & not how the world was)! In Patreon's case, it's only a dollar to get access to most things & is more or less all I could really ask for. If I had 15~20% of all my subscribers on that $1 train, that would more or less secure that dream!

There IS ALSO a 5k sub special I've been meaning to do for a whole year, but that requires some people to have our schedules align to make happen. So needless to say, there are things planned, but finding the means to execute them with current IRL situations is a whole different can of worms.

At the end of the day, what I desire the most in everything I do- Whether that's gaming, SP00D'n, or my desired professional careers of voice acting & story writing... Is to leave an impact. Some of you know who you are who fall into that category, but it's people like you who motivate me to keep pushing through instead of throwing my towel at what feels like a rigged game where I'm stuck as an underdog. So I hope to hold up on that front, regardless of whether I make the ideal goals or not.

Do you think I should just move all my game streams to Twitch? I know I asked once but I'm considering whether it'd be better that I just game there instead of YouTube. I've have some beef with Twitch, but it just feels like I'm a lil dead gaming here, albeit connecting with fans was part of the reason why I streamed on here. I don't know.
