DJ Tarico’s peculiar, genre-merging sound put him at the vanguard of popular African Music Producers. Born Tárico Caifaz Samuel Simbine, aka DJ Tarico, is a breakthrough, powerhouse Mozambican record producer, DJ, beat-maker, music composer, and sound engineer. The multi award winning producer has also become one of the global faces of Amapiano music.

The producer got his professional start in his early 20s crafting fast-paced, syncopated anthems.

Announcing himself to the world back in 2020 with his sophomore album, Moz Piano Vol. 2, the Yaba Buluku Boyz frontman’s rise to fame has been quite linear.

His star power has been enormous through the Geobek Standard vision by Mr. George Beke, drawing the likes of Grammy winner Burna Boy (Yaba Buluku remix) and the likes of Mr. Eazi (Patek), Harmonize, (Single Again) Yemi Alade (Tell Somebody), Iyanya (No Where), DJ Consequence (Number One), Jux (Shuga Daddy), Djodje (Riko), Yuri Da Cunha (Abre o Canal) and many more hits.
