Hey guys I just wanted to make this post to thank yall for all the kind messages! It was really heartwarming to see everyone care so much and I thought I would update yall on what's going on (if you want i have a video in the pinned comment which i yap if you don't wanna read)
Basically I have gotten the all-clear from my doctor and I am no longer at risk of anything serious. My pain and soreness have pretty much gone and besides being very tired all the time and having low energy compared to what I used to, I'm basically back to normal which mean I can finally make videos! (expect a Poppy Playtime Chapter 5 video very soon lol), not to say im completely better but I am doing pretty good all things considered, thankfully healed up real fast due to me taking it ez haha.
Now I do wanna say, we are SOOOO close to 100K subscribers where I will be thanking every subscriber live on stream so be sure to turn on public subs for that (will remind once we hit it) but if you havent subscribed, PLEASE consider it, its free and it would mean so much to me if we could hit it! Hey everyone, this will be a bit more of a serious post but I figured I should make it sooner rather than later while I can (sorry for the amount of reading you'll have to do)
On Friday 6th of February at around 5:20AM on a morning run (yes I really do get up that early), I was involved in a hit and run where a semi truck clipped me as I was running on the side of the road and I got pretty badly bruised, falling and taking most of the damage to my right arm and hip as well as my knees and hands. I went to the hospital and basically got the all clear on that day, some cuts, pretty bad bruises and nothing too bad. I told my friends this much and thought I'd be good with just a little bit of soreness from a tetanus shot and general soreness of being hit by a car.
But the next day I had to go back due to some pretty terrible pain around the areas of concern, mainly my hip which the bruising was fairly close to my kidneys and stomach which is obviously concerning and got scans done again to double check for any internal bleeding. Thankfully, there were no signs, but due to other symptoms I had been having which had come up, there was the worry I had gone into shock (which I kinda did) and needed to get treated, plus the worry I MAY have hit my head or damaged my neck or spine but it all went as well as it could have and 24 hours after that, I'm home with medicine, not as much painkiller as I would have liked but whatever and a pretty strict minimal movement order from the doctor.
As of right now, I am ok but am in alot of pain and pretty drowsy with low energy and need to be taking it real easy and being aware of any symptoms which are an immediate ambulance call. Thankfully I have alot of people around me who are able to support me through it and it hasn't all been bad, as I've been getting around to watching Stranger Things since I'm basically bedridden and understand why everyone raves about the show haha.
However all this is to say, I am being very careful as there are still alot of pretty scary risks due to some of the symptoms I have and as such, I will have to step back from my channel for a bit which sucks because I wanna do so much and have alot planned but it is what it is, maybe I'll hit 100K before I get back haha. As such videos will not be out for a while, although I am still doing SOME work where I can since this job never sleeps haha (I PROMISE I AM BEING SAFE AND NOT PUSHING MYSELF THATS WHY THINGS WILL TAKE ALOT LONGER I SPEND MOST OF MY DAYS SLEEPING)
Anyways, I wanted to make this post to address this now instead of potentially a month with NOTHING, but I will be pretty silent and taking things easy and I hope you can understand. This was a pretty serious thing to happen and I'm just thankful I'm still here as things very possibly could have been wayy worse.
