When a person passes away, most of his actions come to an end. However, Islam teaches that certain deeds continue to benefit a believer even after death.
Abu Huraira (رضي الله عنه) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.”
