This new age verification is so crazy. What do you mean I HAVE to show you my id to watch a video, OR let you have access to my email address to verify my age. WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN? Are you going to read my emails to see who emails me and why? I’m sure google has access to basically all of my information anyways, but still. I don’t want them to have my id, I don’t want them to have all my emails and conversations, I don’t want to google something and get an ai generated response that isn’t even close to being correct most of the time, I don’t want to give you my CREDIT CARD (WHAT??) even if you don’t take my money. I’m scared to even post my name online, what makes you think I wanna give you my ID that has my actual address on it and let a third party use that to determine my age, not even discussing the fact that there is a huge potential for that third party to have a data breach, then what? Someone will have everything about me and I can’t do anything about it.
