We’re officially reopening the Blockhead Moto Patreon!

I started Patreon back in 2017, when I had a ton of people that said I should sign up for it, because they wanted to help support the channel and brand! It blew my mind that people wanted to take that extra step, so on Jan. 29th, 2017, I started our Patreon! The response and show of support... was HUGE! Honestly much bigger than I ever thought it would be.

With your support, we were able to take this thing that was just an idea, something that started out of an enthusiasm for and love of motorcycles, and grow it into something I never thought imaginable! From humble beginnings of giving away an event banner, then growing it all the way to giving away brand new fully custom motorcycles, working alongside some of the top brands in the industry, traveling the world, or just wrenching in the garage, it's been a hell of a journey since 2017! It's not lost on me that I've got you all to thank for that.

A lot has changed since we left Patreon in 2021. We've continued to grow in many different ways. We've done so many more builds (won awards for them even!) and continued to learn an absolute ton along the way about motorcycles, business, manufacturing, the industry, design and more. Social media has gone through so many changes, and it's a full time job keeping up with an ever changing algorithm.

But one thing that hasn't changed throughout it all is our love of motorcycles. With that, y'all probably know, we shoot a TON of content that never makes it to YouTube. The YouTube algorithm doesn't really seem to like our longer form content, so we have to be aggressive in our editing and cut out a lot. We've experimented around with it over the years. With TikTok, iG reels, and now YouTube shorts, people's attention spans seem to be getting shorter and shorter and shorter. I call it the "microwave generation." We want it now, 30 seconds!

But there are many of us that still enjoy longer form storytelling, the details, the longer edits, extended cuts, showing all the shop chaos, build debates, and problem-solving. Those real behind-the-scenes moments! One thing we've noticed in our comments over the years, that style of content is something our core community has asked for, and quite a bit.

We figured since we were on Patreon for years previously, why not start it back up... and make that the home for it!

So here we are, starting back up on Patreon! There, you’ll get extended episodes, early access drops, Patron only updates, community voting, front-row seats to the real process behind every build, and lots more!

You being a part of it is more than just watching. It makes you a part of the journey!

Just like when we started our Patreon in 2017, paid members take part in our member only build give away drawings tied to completed projects. We started the build give aways here, so we'll continue them here as a show of thanks to you all!

As I've always said, y'all are the ones that make all of this possible for us. Your support opens a ton of doors for us. It only feels right to give back to our community that allows us to do so much!
