Parc Astérix new for 2025 additions - n°8 Les Chaises Volantes rethemed The park's swinging chairs/wave swinger is getting a retheme for 2025, or at the very least its main structure is. It looks like it will reopen with part of the old theming as well. There's a glaring clash between the new sign and rethemed ride system and the queue and surrounding area, but that should only be temporary (for the 2025 season). I'm sure that by 2026, the area will be fully rethemed into what we see with Les Fastes du Nil.
Parc Astérix new for 2025 additions - n°7 Egyptian alley This alley will soon join the Gaul and Egyptian area, where Nationale 7's alley was. It looks like it too will feature quite a lot of detail.
Parc Astérix new for 2025 additions - n°6 Cétautomatix (opening May) Cétautomatix's theming is getting closer to completion, but we are yet to see it testing. This ride looks to have a really nice-looking and detailed area.
Parc Astérix new for 2025 additions - n°5 Pegase Express jet wash, building repaints and new foliage in the Greek area It seems as though the Geek area km getting some love, as new foliage and gravel have been placed down (I don't have footage of that). Some buildings seemed to have gotten a repaint (or a jet wash), and Pegase Express also had some sections jet washed.
Parc Asterix new for 2025 additions - n°4 Epidemaïs Croisières repainted boats? Epidemaïs seems to be running more boasts this year than it did in 2024, and most of them seem to have gotten a repaint. The first three are the new ones, and the fourth still has the old color scheme, it seems.
Parc Asterix new for 2025 additions - n°3 Les Chaudrons retheme The park's teacups ride got a full repaint, a new queue line, and a new entrance sign. This overhaul was made so that the ride fit thematically with the surrounding coaster, Cétautomatix.
Parc Asterix new for 2025 additions - n°2 Les Fastes du Nil Parc Asterix opened a new restaurant for 2025, Les Fastes du Nil. This is a fast food place that has three adult menus. One with a chicken or merguez burger, the other with a burger or wrap, and the third with chicken nuggets or jalapenos. It's got pretty good food, with some more traditional "theme park" options on the menu, and some more unique choices. It's also funny how this clashes with the old theme of the area that it's in, for this year at least. It's the first phase of an extension of the Egyptian area into the "A travers le Temps" area.
Parc Astérix New for 2025 additions - n°1 New trains for Goudurix Godurix received new Vekoma MK-1212 chassis for its two trains. These feature the usual vest restraints, have much more comfortable seats, and have more leg room. They make the headbanging much less of an issue but make the really bad moments stand out. They're a great upgrade nonetheless to what I feel is an underappreciated classic.
