7UP | Photorealistic CGI Product Rendering in Unreal Engine 5.6
Sharing my latest CGI product visualization, a photorealistic still render of 7UP created in Unreal Engine 5.6 using path tracing.
I studied real-world photography lighting, camera, and composition setups (PS: watched a lot of photography YouTube videos!) and tried to replicate them in UE. Instead of using multiple light sources, I focused on the power of bounce light through cards, reflection falloffs, and subtle background lighting to create a realistic and appealing look.
Technical Details:
Unreal Engine 5.6 for materials, real-world lighting, and camera values
Path tracing for final rendering
EXR format with linear color space
Post-production in DaVinci Resolve for color correction, brand color matching, and final touches
Model sourced from Marketplace
I’m planning a course on product lighting in Unreal Engine, so this is also part of my research and testing phase.

🎉 Excited to share that I’ve officially earned the Unreal Authorized Instructor badge!
Unreal Engine has been a core part of my creative journey—whether it’s architectural visualization, virtual production, automotive CGI, or immersive experiences. Becoming an authorized instructor is a meaningful step toward sharing that knowledge with others and supporting the next generation of real-time creators.
Thanks to Epic Games for this recognition, and to everyone who’s been part of the journey so far.
Let’s keep creating, learning, and growing together! 🚀

🌿 Recreating The Crown’s Cinematic Forest Scene | Unreal Engine & Dash 🎬
In this project, I set out to recreate a cinematic forest scene from The Crown (Season 4, Episode 2) using Unreal Engine & Dash. The challenge was to match the composition, lighting, colors, and mood as accurately as possible in minimal time.
To achieve a cinematic look, I replicated the Sony CineAlta Venice camera with a Cooke Panchro 21mm T2.2 lens inside Unreal Engine. The final images were color-graded in DaVinci Resolve using the ACES pipeline, ensuring accurate color reproduction.
Final Renders:
✅ Daytime Scene 🌞
✅ Nighttime Scene 🌙
✅ Comparison with the reference shot ðŸŽ
