I put parts and gear to the test and take you along for real-world riding adventures so you can see what actually works out on the road.
I’m Mario, and welcome to Adventure Gear TV. I skip the studio spec-sheet readings and get straight to the action. Whether I’m wrenching in the garage, pushing the Gold Wing on a long-haul trip, or exploring on the Trail 125, I run everything through a practical gauntlet. From hands-on maintenance guides to immersive ride-alongs, my goal is to answer one question: Does this make the ride better?

It looks a lot worse on camera. You’ll know when you see it. Hint: something doesn’t belong on THIS bike.

For the Gold Wing fanatics, I’m making two upgrades at the same time. Can you spot them both?

The new project bike is loaded up on the minivan for the trip home. This bike sat for 14 years in a barn collecting dust and I’m excited to return it to its former glory!
I rode this bike home for my brother from Knoxville to Nashville off the showroom floor in 2008. He put 7,500 miles on it over the next few years and eventually parked it as life got in the way. Now, I’d like to make it roadworthy again for my son to ride.

My buddy is almost too big for long road trips on the bike with me. Nah, my son’ll never be too big for a ride, but soon he be old enough to ride his own bike! That’s something I’m looking forward to. Love ya buddy!

Here’s the real reason I keep buying DeWalt 20v power tools. It’s not really about brand loyalty, but once you have so many batteries from one manufacturer it’s hard to change to another. https://youtu.be/csL3fm_QI54?si=yWVOW...

My CT125 is perfect for me and much more practical than most people realize!
I passed 1,200 miles today with mostly wide open throttle and the Trail is still running strong. Today’s trip ~70 miles round trip and clocked in at 84 MPG. I’m satisfied with the bike and looking forward to many more miles. I’ve made a few upgrades to manage engine heat, and the oil cooler has helped quite a bit. Check it out if you’re interested.

Love this simple setup from @billysbikesbrews7183 Burgundy Siennas always catch my eye and an easy no build camper is always my favorite. Billy did custom make a few touch points that got me thinking about changing my setup. https://youtu.be/Ejt8YPECuqA?si=pk2cH...

This is the coolest Honda Element overlanding camping rig I’ve ever seen. It’s got a 3” lift with 30” tires and is capable of going almost anywhere. Sam shared his build on @OverlandMiniVan if you want to see it in action!
This Car Camper is BETTER Than a Minivan
