👉 “Religious Economy Theory”sees religions as operating in a kind of “marketplace,” where different religious groups (churches, sects, denominations, movements) are the suppliers of a product (i.e. faith, healing, deliverance, etc…) and individuals seeking meaning, community, or spiritual experience are the consumers of said product.

After yesterday’s quick video on Tom Scarella aka (Tom SCAMrella) where I just did a surface sweep on him. I spent the rest of the evening digging deeper into some of his teachings and this guy is DEFINITELY A WOLF no doubt about it! He twists and “bends/tweaks” (his words) scripture and abuses God’s word. He does nothing but talk about feel good self help topics as well as prop himself up. I still have yet to hear one of his quote, unquote “sermons” mention Jesus or the gospel. And I went back 18 years on his page…he sells “Healing Masterclasses” and “social media ministry” classes for crazy prices. He fleeces the flock any way he can! I’ll be putting out a more in depth video concerning the wolf SCAMrella very soon!

Hey Unfiltered Family,
I want to officially welcome everyone to a new era for this channel.
We don’t want this to be just a content channel.
It’s a call to live differently. To heal deeply. To recover what religion stole, and to feel safe talking about anything that’s on our minds.
Our goal is to create a community of people who build each other up by bringing to the table knowledge and ideas from everyone in all walks of life. We will help each other understand the difficult things better and support each other as we learn to navigate the emotional ups and downs of recovery from abusive systems.
Unfiltered is where we dismantle deception, call out spiritual manipulation, and break the silence around toxic teachings — but we don’t stop there.
We’re also rebuilding from the ground up.
Because freedom in Christ isn’t just theology — it’s a lifestyle. And here, we’re learning to live it the Unfiltered way:
