In this article, I explore the life of Anwar al-Awlaki, the American-born imam who had contact with some of the 9/11 hijackers.
I trace his journey from growing up in New Mexico, to his time as a respected imam in the U.S., and finally to his involvement with al-Qaeda as documented in the 9/11 Commission Report.
It’s a complex story that touches on terrorism, intelligence failures, and the difficult balance between civil liberties and national security.
Twenty-four years ago, nineteen al-Qaeda terrorists hijacked four airliners and crashed them into the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and a field in Pennsylvania after the passengers revolted.
To keep alive the memory of the horror that took place that morning, today I share with the readers of my blog the story of survivor @MikailaZen , who was in Tower 2 at the time of the first crash.
Fellow researcher Nelson Martins hosted me on his Patreon channel to discuss my recent trip to San Diego, where I visited places connected to two of the American Airlines Flight 77 hijackers—their homes, workplaces, and places of worship. The video is available at the following link:

First report of this year’s trip: in Las Vegas at the sites of Tupac Shakur’s murder for the second time.
I wrote it on the tablet, so there may obviously be some typos.
