This Memorial Day, we remember those who gave everything…Like U.S. Air Force Tech Sergeant John A. Chapman.

Today we remember, reflect, and give thanks.
Forever grateful to those who served and sacrificed especially warriors like Chapman.

March 4th, 2002 — Operation Anaconda.
Chapman and his team are ambushed on a mountain in eastern Afghanistan.
He’s shot and left for dead.
But he doesn’t stay down.

He regains consciousness, climbs back uphill alone, and charges straight into enemy fire.
He assaults a bunker, kills multiple fighters, and holds his ground under machine gun fire — all to protect his brothers.

Chapman fought off insurgents at close range for over an hour.
He was shot again fatally but never backed down.

His actions were later confirmed by drone footage the first Medal of Honor combat ever recorded.
John A. Chapman became the first Airman since Vietnam to receive the Medal of Honor.

He fought, bled, and died twice for his team.
An absolute warrior. American hero. Never forgotten.
