최근 푸바오의 소식에 대해 많은 분들께서 관심을 가져주시고, 때로는 걱정 어린 시선도 보내주시는 것을 알고 있습니다. 오늘은 현재 푸바오의 상태와 관련하여 여러분께 조금 더 자세한 정보를 공유드리고자 합니다.

많은 분들께서 아시다시피, 현재 푸바오는 '위임신(가임신)' 상태로 추정되는 여러 증상을 보이고 있습니다. 판다의 위임신은 실제 임신이 아니더라도, 암컷 판다가 임신했을 때와 유사한 호르몬 변화 및 행동적, 신체적 특징을 나타내는 자연스러운 현상 중 하나입니다. 이 시기에는 활동량이 줄고, 식욕에 변화가 생기며, 잠자는 시간이 늘어나는 등 실제 임신과 구분하기 어려운 모습들이 나타나곤 합니다.

흥미롭게도, 푸바오가 현재 보이는 모습은 엄마인 아이바오가 과거 2017년과 2018년에 두 차례 위임신을 경험했을 당시 보였던 증상 및 상태와 많은 부분이 유사하다고 합니다. 아이바오 역시 그 시기에 비슷한 과정을 겪으며 식욕 변화, 활동량 감소, 수면 시간 증가 등의 모습을 보였었습니다. 어쩌면 푸바오도 엄마를 닮아 비슷한 과정을 거치고 있는지도 모르겠습니다.

현재 푸바오는 현지 사육사님들과 전문가분들이 푸바오의 상태를 24시간 면밀히 관찰하고 필요한 검사를 진행하며 정성껏 보살피고 계십니다. 내실에서 주로 신선한 대나무와 댓잎은 물론, 영양을 고려한 워토우, 당근, 맛있는 죽순 등 다양한 음식을 제공받으며 세심한 관리를 받고 있다고 하니, 이 부분에 대해서는 너무 큰 걱정은 덜으셔도 좋을 것 같습니다.

주간시간 때 잠은 주로 외부 루프탑에서 자고 있고 오전이나 오후에 산책도 하고 나무에도 오르면서 활동적인 모습도 보여 주기도 하고요~

판다에게 위임신 기간은 예민할 수 있는 시기이기에, 무엇보다 안정적인 환경에서 스트레스 없이 지내는 것이 중요합니다. 비록 우리가 직접 푸바오 곁을 지킬 수는 없지만, 현지 전문가분들이 푸바오를 위해 최선을 다하고 계심을 믿고 함께 응원하는 마음으로 지켜봐 주시면 좋겠습니다.

판다는 정말 사랑스럽고 신비한 동물입니다~우리가 모르는 부분도 많고 저 또한 일반인이기고 늦게 입덕한 푸덕이에게 아는 것도 적어요~~그래서 저 또한 많은 영상을 보고 기지나 공식 자료를 통해서 많이 보면서 공부하고 있고 판다 관련 논문이나 미국이나 중국 기지에서 발표한 공식자료 등도 열심히 번역해 가면서 판다 그리고 푸바오에 대해서 더 알어 가려고 합니다~근데 영어랑 중국어 그리고 논문은 근데 너무 어렵네요~~ㅎㅎ🤣🤣머리 아퍼요~~

너무 편향적이고 단순하게 본 영상이나 글 등을 통해서 본 걸로 비난이나 악플보다는 더 폭 넓고 정확하게 보시거나 알어 가시는 게 푸바오를 더 사랑하고 알어 가는 거라고 생각해요~

I know that many of you have been showing a lot of interest in Fubao's recent news, and sometimes, you're looking on with concern. Today, I'd like to share some more detailed information with you regarding Fubao's current condition.
As many of you are aware, Fubao is currently showing various symptoms that suggest a state of 'pseudopregnancy' (false pregnancy). Panda pseudopregnancy is a natural phenomenon where, even if not actually pregnant, a female panda exhibits hormonal changes and behavioral and physical characteristics similar to those during pregnancy. During this time, they tend to show decreased activity, changes in appetite, and increased sleeping hours, making it difficult to distinguish from an actual pregnancy.
Interestingly, the signs Fubao is currently displaying are said to be very similar to the symptoms and conditions her mother, Ai Bao, experienced during her two pseudopregnancies in 2017 and 2018. Ai Bao also went through a similar process during those times, showing changes in appetite, reduced activity, and increased sleep. Perhaps Fubao is going through a similar process, taking after her mom.
Currently, Fubao is being diligently cared for by the local keepers and experts at the Shenshuping Base, who are closely observing her condition 24/7, conducting necessary check-ups. We've heard that she's receiving meticulous care in her inner enclosure, being provided with fresh bamboo and bamboo leaves, as well as a variety of foods considering her nutrition, such as wotou, carrots, and delicious bamboo shoots. So, I hope you can ease your worries a little regarding this part.
During the daytime, she mainly sleeps on the outdoor rooftop, and in the morning or afternoon, she also goes for walks and climbs trees, showing active moments~
The pseudopregnancy period can be a sensitive time for pandas, so it's most important for them to be in a stable, stress-free environment. Although we can't be by Fubao's side directly, I hope we can all watch over her with a supportive heart, trusting that the experts there are doing their best for Fubao.
And I will try my best to stay by Fuya's side at Shenshuping as much as possible~
