Day 1 — What Is Prayer?
Matthew 6:9 (KJV)
Prayer is not a performance or empty repetition—it is talking to our Father in heaven. Today, we begin our Week of Prayer and Fasting by coming to God as His children, honoring His holy Name, and learning to pray the way Jesus taught us.
Prayer Points:
- Thank God for adopting you as His child.
- Ask Him to teach you how to pray.
- Honor the Name of Jesus above every other name.
- Pray for a fresh reset in your personal prayer life.
See you at 6:00 PM at our evening rally.

Today, we celebrate the men whose quiet faithfulness often goes unnoticed but never goes without impact.
To every father, grandfather, spiritual father, mentor, and father figure—thank you for your prayers, your sacrifices, your guidance, your protection, and your unwavering love. Your influence reaches far beyond today; it shapes homes, strengthens communities, and leaves a legacy for generations to come.
The world may not always recognize the value of a father, but God does.
Your presence matters. Your words matter. Your example matters.
Happy Father's Day!

Dear CLA Family,
As we hold our Week of Prayer and Fasting, please note that we will not share daily prayer points.
That said, prayer does not pause.
We encourage you to read Proverbs 3 (our focus for the week), remain personally engaged in prayer throughout the day, and convene each evening for our rallies, which will also be live-streamed.
God bless you.

We're halfway through 2026.
What better way to kick off the second half of the year than in God's presence!
Join us for a powerful week of prayer, fasting, worship, and the Word as we seek the Lord together and learn what it means to trust Him completely.
Our prayer focus will be Proverbs 3:5.
We are honored to host Pastor Jimmy Muyango, who will minister to us.
Pastor Jimmy is the Senior Pastor of Potter's Hand Ministries in Rwanda.
Mark your calendars: from Monday to Friday, we will have evening rallies from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. On Sunday, June 7, we will break our fast with a thanksgiving service.
See you next week!
