The weather is starting to get a lot colder here in Michigan. I was hoping Thuong would make it here for some good Summer riding weather, but winter riding can be fun too. Someone shared this old gem with me recently and it brought back a lot of good memories of our winter bike commuting rides in Japan. Unfortunately, it's gonna get a lot colder here in Michigan compared to Nagoya 😱

I’m officially old. I entered my first masters race today which was the Michigan state crit championship. Got 4th in the field sprint after attacking all race, but luckily got 1st for the 35-39 category which is pretty cool!🥇
Doubled up for the pro1/2 and was feeling good, but someone crashed right in front of me on the last lap in the last corner 🤷♂️ I barely dodged it and didn’t go down so counting my blessings, but I did have to come to a complete stop and couldn’t sprint anymore.
Silly me lost my car keys somehow and had to ride 2.5 hours after the race to go get my spare set 😂
Glad to finish my short road season on a high note though and totally gonna rock the masters state champion jersey 😎

Cruise entered and won his first ever gravel race this last Sunday! What an awesome feeling to be back on the podium after many years of no racing. Unfortunately there will be no video for this race, but the cyclocross race videos are coming back this fall! #crossiscoming
