Ok folks I am making a lot of lumber, pretty repetitive so my video is going to come out next week as I can give you more than the same from the last few video's. I am trying to mill up all I can now that the tractor is back and running well. Good stuff in the works for off grid living next week. Stay tuned and I'll be back!

Overnight we got a snow storm that came through. I think it was 2.5" to 3's in most places. May be fun to drop some trees in the new utility building build area today. I have 4 trees I want to fell.

Window Build Part 3 – quick update 👇
I spent most of this week making the pre-frame pieces so the window build goes together cleaner and stronger. It’s real progress… but I don’t want to post a video that’s only prep work.
I also took a quick drive down to one of my fishing spots — lake is frozen solid right now ❄️🎣 (winter is definitely here).
Next weekend I’m planning to start assembling the first window frame on camera, and once I’ve got at least one built I’ll upload Window Build Part 3.

Happy New Year, everyone! 🎉
It’s a chilly one here—**10°F** this morning and **14°F** right now 🥶
Holiday shipping has delayed a few tools I ordered, but once they arrive I’m jumping back into the next build: a **router table cart** and a **planer cart** made from lumber I milled this year. Not fancy—just practical for now. Better tool tables will come later! Video coming soon!

❄️ Winter has officially arrived at the homestead!
Woke up to the first snow of the season this morning, and it’s starting to feel like the cold months are setting in. Filming kicks off today for this week’s video — I’ll be putting up the new lights, and if the wires are long enough, I might even get them powered up before the day’s out.
Time to get this place ready for winter. 🔨✨
