I'm gonna be out of town for a couple days and didn't get any content for this channel recorded, which I apologize for. I haven't forgotten about Mario Maker 2, and I will be doing some content for it when I get back on Thursday :)

I was doing a lot of streaming Bloodbath on my GD channel, and so this channel fell to the wayside momentarily, but normal uploads to resume soon! At least 3 per week anyways (but hopefully more!)

I kind of regret naming this channel EricVanMarioMan because when I play something outside of Mario Maker like Cuphead or Fall Guys, I get comments about how the video isn't a "Mario" video. This channel, while it is Mario Maker focused, is also going to have other games. I'm especially going to put other games here that are platformer focused, and I may also put some retro games here in the future as well.

With that said, I had a great suggestion during one of my streams to call it "EricVanWildermanTOO", which suggest that it's my second channel, and is also a play on words for "2", by instead calling it "TOO" which also makes sense because it's just more EVW content.

This is my final name change. EricVanMarioMan was good while it lasted, but I feel that with a name like that, people will expect me to ONLY make Mario related content, which just isn't true. I've been enjoying the variety on my Twitch streams and this channel, and want to continue to share that kind of content here. Most of you have been enjoying it, which is good to see.

That doesn't mean that Mario Maker is going anywhere. It just means that there will also be vids from other games too if I feel like they fall under the umbrella of platformer-like content.

Big update! I'm going to be having a kid tomorrow. Well not me, rather my wife is going to be having a c-section and we're having a baby together. I'm really excited for it, but life is going to be turbulent the next few days. There will most likely not be any videos going out for about 5 or 6 days, but I might be back earlier! I'll be spending a few days at the hospital with my wife while she recovers, and of course with my baby too!

However, my wife and son will be in a recovery center for 2 weeks after she's finished at the hospital. During that time, because of the current situation with social distancing and whatnot, the recovery center allows no visitors and so I'll be alone at home for a couple weeks, and I'll have a ton of time to make vids.

I'll be gone for a few days, but I'll be back before you know it. See you soon!
