I’ve been fascinated with makeup ever since I was a little boy. I used to grab a pen or marker and draw lipstick on the women in magazines because I didn’t like the shades they were wearing — I always saw something more bold, more me.
Growing up, I was constantly told “makeup is for women,” and for a long time, I felt lost. But my artistic eye has always been my light in the darkest moments. I was the kid known for drawing and painting — from customizing binder covers to helping form the art club at school.
When I lost my mom at 18, I put the paintbrush down… and picked up a makeup brush. Life was too short not to live fully and authentically. What started as simple makeup looks turned into full creative visions with headpieces, bold colors, and full-on transformations.
I’ve been blessed to work with brands like Urban Decay, L’Oréal, Milk Makeup, Sigma, and even Hulu, Peacock, and American Horror Story. But through it all, mental health had to come first. I took a step back to heal, to breathe, and to realign.
Now, I’m back. Stronger, more grounded, and more inspired than ever. I’m ready to pick up that brush again and create my kind of magic — the kind that’s raw, bold, and entirely me.
