Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), Huron Perth Addiction and Mental Health Services is a local mental health and addictions agency which provides a variety of services, including addiction counselling for youth and adults, mental health case management, peer support, court support, counselling for problem gambling/behavioural change, supportive housing, community withdrawal management and more. Our goal is to provide quality services and easier access for those impacted by mental health and/or addiction issues in the communities across Huron and Perth.

In this informative discussion, Meaghen Brideau, Addictions Counsellor at the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Huron Perth, shares important insights about problem gambling and highlights the mental health and addictions counselling services available through CMHA.
Meaghen is joined by Nicki Darbyson, Psychotherapist at the Maitland Valley Medical Centre, and Dr. Kathy Liu, Resident Physician in Psychiatry at the University of Ottawa, to explore the close connection between addictions and mental health. The session is moderated by Nyden Greenfield and hosted as part of the Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health (Gateway CERH) free monthly lecture series.
