I’ve been meaning to reopen my commissions recently anyway but last night I had to take one of my cats to the emergency vet and it cost us like $350 dollars, very very luckily my mums Centrelink payment was set to come through that midnight so we were able to pay for it but that’s like basically half of all her money for this fortnight and we still have bills and rent to pay urghghhhhhhhhhh
My cat is okay for the moment but we’re still not 100% sure what’s going on because we couldn’t afford to get him all the appropriate scans or anything so im just monitoring him rn in hopes he gets better and that i dont have to take him back again cuz we don’t have insurance rrhrhhrhhhhh
Hopefully he won’t need to go to the vet again so soon but ik he will need to get some of his teeth pulled as they’re part of the issue and idfk how much that’ll cost and next month I have a specialist appointment that I cannot miss but idk how much it’ll be because I’ll be paying out of pocket so I anticipate $200-$400 rrrrrrrr I finally managed to get an appointment with a rheumatologist who specialises in ehlers danlos so I can finally get proper treatment and get my ndis (government disability stuff) sorted out finally I havnt been able to get proper treatment or care for a year or 2 now because all of this is so slow and expensive grrrrrrrrr
On the bright side tho I managed to convince my gp to give me pain killers for nerve pain so atleast im not in like crippling amounts of pain everyday that leave me bedridden wooooo that’s why my commissions have been closed for so long because of my chronic pain and it’s not completely gone esp since i still have joint pain but it’s gone from like a 9/10 pain to like a 3/10 pain so i rlly wanna get back to work soon hhhhh god i love being chronically ill and povo LMAOOOOOOOOO dw i have a good support system it’s not like im gonna go homeless or die it’s just a lot to deal with lolol
