Shalimar Recording & Broadcasting Company Limited (SRBC) is an un-listed public Company, incorporated in Pakistan in December, 1974 under the Company's Act-1913 (Now the Companies Act-2017) and is engaged in operating, telecasting and broadcasting facilities. Majority of its shares are owned by Pakistan Television Corporation (PTVC) , Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) and Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) apart from shares held by the member of entertainment industry. (General Public) The registered office of the Company is situated at Plot No. 36, Sector H-9, Islamabad.

Shalimar Recording & Broadcasting Company Limited is declared as the "National Broadcaster" in terms of Section 2(p) of the PEMRA Ordinance, 2002 alongwith PBC and PTV.

SRBC is Operating, at present, its TV channel under the call sign " A-TV" and Radio Network "Shalimar FM Radio Network 94.6 MHz".

It can be stated without exaggeration that Mahira Khan is currently dominating the entertainment industry in Pakistan. Born on 21 December 1984 in Karachi, Pakistan, Khan began her career as a VJ on MTV Pakistan. Her television debut came in 2006 with the drama series Neeyat. However, it was her breakthrough role as Khirad Hussain in Sarmad Khoosat's Humsafar that catapulted her to stardom and established her as the biggest star in Pakistan. Khan collaborated with Sarmad once again in Shehr e Zaat and received numerous accolades for her performance. Notable television works of Khan also include Bin Roye (2016) and Sadqay Tumhare (2016).

Khan made her foray into films with the critically acclaimed and commercially successful social drama Bol, which became one of the highest-grossing Pakistani films of all time. In 2016, she starred in Asim Raza's film Ho Mann Jahaan, earning her a Lux Style Award for Best Actress (Film) and a Nigar Award nomination for Best Actress. The following year, Khan made her debut in the Hindi film industry with Rahul Dholakia's Indian film Raees, where she co-starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Khan's filmography also includes notable works such as Manto (2015), Bin Roye (2016), Actor In Law (2016), Verna (2017), 7 Din Muhabat In (2018), Nabeel Qureshi's action-comedy film Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad (2022), and Bilal Lashari's Punjabi-language action drama film The Legend of Maula Jatt.

In addition to her successful acting career, Khan serves as an ambassador for several renowned brands, including Lux, QMobile, Huawei, Sunsilk, Veet, and L'Oréal. Her achievements and influence were recognized when she was included in the BBC's list of 100 Women, announced on 23 November 2020.

Nazia Hassan, born on April 3, 1965, was a renowned Pakistani pop singer-songwriter, lawyer, and social activist. She embarked on her musical journey at the tender age of 10 and soon became one of the most influential singers in Pakistan. Her popularity extended throughout South and Southeast Asia, earning her the title of the "Queen of Pop" in South Asia. Collaborating with her brother Zoheb Hassan, they achieved remarkable success, selling over 65 million records worldwide. Notably, her English language single "Dreamer Deewane" made her the first Pakistani singer to enter the British charts. Nazia made her singing debut with the song "Aap Jaisa Koi" in 1980, featured in the Bollywood film Qurbani. Her debut album, "Disco Deewane" (1981), achieved remarkable success, charting in fourteen countries and becoming the highest-selling Asian pop record of its time. She was honored with Pakistan's prestigious civilian award, the Pride of Performance. Alongside her musical pursuits, Nazia actively participated in philanthropic endeavors and was appointed as the cultural ambassador for UNICEF in 1991. Some of her most iconic hits include "Disco Deewane," "Boom Boom," "Aap Jaisa Koi," "Khushi," "Aankhien Milane Waaley," "Rock n Roll," "Jaana," "Dosti," and "Dum Dum Dee Dee." Sadly, on August 13, 2000, Nazia Hassan succumbed to lung cancer in London at the age of 35.
