I can't tell you all how many times I've dreamt of this moment. 11 years ago I was successfully able to buy back the 1969 Plymouth Barracuda previously owned by my great grandmother, grandfather, and dad.

It had been lost since 1989.

Since recovering the car back in 2014, I have gone through every aspect of the fish and turned it into the baddest hotrod possible - only took 11 years 😅. While I've been recording every step of the way, it was always done with anticipation of this video. The Grand Reveal. I hope you all enjoy the video as much as I did filming it. Its a memory I'll keep for the rest of my life.

The Barracuda is done...

The next video I release will arguably be the most impactful moment of my automotive career. I'm towing my great-grandmother's '69 Barracuda 1300 miles away to conduct it's big reveal to the previous 2 owners - my father and grandfather. The video will likely be ready the first week of December so, stay tuned! I'm so excited to finally make this dream come true! 😁

Well, the Barracuda didnt make it back in time for Duct Tape Drags. The guys at the shop were dealing with the same issue pertaining to the brakes. I suspect there may be an issue with the Master Cylinder. I'll get it back Monday and continue to dig into the system if they aren't able to find the source. Now that I've finally caught up on sleep, I guess its time to clean and organize the shop. 😒 0-2 on making it to planned races this year. In January I promised this car would be done by year's end - I'm following through with that promise.

After basically two all-nighters, Im taking the fish to a shop to complete the alignment and bleed the brake system. No amount of coffee or energy drinks can keep me awake at this point. This is my hail mary attempt to still make it to Duct Tape Drags for Saturday! I spent hours chasing leaks and trying to bleed this wilwood setup. Hopefully these guys will be able to get it squared away by the end of today. For now, its time for sleep!

After 4 years of wrenching, racing, and enjoying the hell outta of this little drop top A-body, its finally time to send it on it's way to a new owner. I'm proud to have been able to save this car from the junkyard I found it in back in 2021. The funds from this car will help the '70 Superbird race car clone build that will be debuting on the channel this winter. Until then, its still full speed ahead on my grandma's '69 Fish along with some work to the daily. I appriciate all the support on this channel and look forward to continuing to share these builds along with many tips, tricks, and lessons learned along the way 🫡

This big block stroker is ALMOST ready to sing!

Delaying this Wednesday's video drop until the new starter arrives Saturday. Naturally, mine failed the day of start-up 😒. I'm determined to showcase what a 12.5-1 493 stroker through straight headers sounds like on the next video!
