🚨 FREE CANVA TEMPLATE LINKS BELOW ⬇️ The square Instagram grid era is officially behind us! With the new Instagram update and the portrait grid, there’s really no excuse to keep posting square graphics.

Here’s how to make sure your aesthetic Instagram feed is still looking good and, more importantly, is easy to read:

⭐️ STATIC POSTS ⭐️
Post size: 1080x1350px in 4:5 ratio
Profile grid size: 1012x1350px in 3:4 ratio (meaning it shows as slightly more narrow on each side)

⭐️ REELS ⭐️
Video size: 1080x1920px in 9:16 ratio
Reels tab grid size: 1080x1920px in 9:16 ratio
Profile grid size: 1080x1440px (meaning it’s cropped from the top and bottom without narrowing the sides)

🚨 But hold on!
Since the Explore page and desktop profiles still show posts as squares, we have to keep optimizing for the middle square too!
